    There is already a thread in the ESO forums here speculating about the ultimate meaning of the disappearance of the 6-month sub option just like this guys is:

    Personally, I've thought it might go buy to play when the PS4 and XB1 versions are released since subs on top of network fees are a bit much and not very common (FFARR might be the only one.)

    I think I watched his Wildstar videos and he's really bad at video games and complains about other people while he's bad. I'm not really interested in his opinion.

    I think we can be confident that Subscription will not be the business model for consoles. Another concern is the reason for delaying the release of ESO for consoles; from the updates and all the cool stuff that the console version will get, it is safe to assume that Zenimax used the PC market to test out the waters and then once ready, release it to consoles in a proper state since it was their main market since start.

    That is what my logic tells me. I prefer B2P as well but I doubt it.
