in Everquest II
Well I believe that this game is gonna focus too much on graphics. Lets think final fantasy 10 the graphics were good but i could kill jhect in 1 hit. Games that focus on graphics usally are only bought because they seem good

    Common sense. Its the EQ engine of RPing with better graphics and a new world. That is it. Face it gunblade. Its the same game, just kicked up a notch.

    Ok no sh** that the graphics are better in half life2 and so forth, this is an MMORPG... graphics are toned down. But in comparison to any other MMORPG nothing will touch EQII.  Use your brain....

    I sure hope the in game graphics are infinitely better or EQ2 is going to have the worst graphics of any of the new mmorpgs coming out.  The terrain shapes and textures look like they are straight out of the original EQ and omg could that player model look any worse?  At least the bat looks pretty good.

    This weeks picture is another lackluster example.  Over the next year of development I hope they hire some artists.

    We must have a vast difference of opinion on graphics as i dont see anything wrong with that screenshot.

    The character models in EQII look like they are made out of clay or something.  It's like claymation.

    Something that worries me about EQII is SWG.  The visuals in SWG are good but not great.  FFXI's graphics were WAY better and it didn't crunch your system as much as SWG.  My faith in SOE's programming skills aren't exactly strong anymore.

    If graphics are the best thing about EQII, this game won't last to the end of next year.
