Enjoyed the new map, but my most favorite thing has to be the zone wide jumping puzzle. Love jumping puzzles, something i wish every new mmo came with.
Easily the new jumping puzzle in the Silverwastes. I've always been fond of them, and this one just blows the rest out of the water. It spans most of the map, weaves above and below it, and takes you through some interesting areas. The developers at ArenaNet went really went above and beyond in designing this one, and I appreciate the effort that went into it. I can only hope that future maps have similarly impressive jumping puzzles. It's a stellar, sprawling journey that gets a tip o' the hat from me.
One MAJOR thing I liked is the fact that you've made an MMORPG have a campaign type of feel to it due to these content seasons. It feels like I'm playing an RPG with all my friends in the living room, just like the old days. Season two has really delivered great story, and I am excited for the final chapter! and Rytlock is my favorite major character! And I cannot wait to see what you have in store for us at PAX South!
I liked the bit with the ghosts of Ascalon best--they're such an integral part of the landscape it feels cool that we might be able to change that, like we can actually change the world around us. It's a similar sort of feeling that I got when Scarlett destroyed Lion's Arch, and it feels really powerful.
Hands down favorite part of Season 2 is the two new zones, Dry Top and The Silverwastes. It has been a good long while since we have seen any new parts of Tyria and I for one and super happy to have these additions. Dry Top with its sandstorms that make me miss running around Istan from the original Guild Wars, and Silverwastes with its fortresses and huge PvE battles that seem inspired from WvW. And its episodic! Going to love coming back and playing these parts of the Living Story years after completing them.
There is no doubt that the story is definitly more fleshed out and interesting than the previous season. Although season 1 had iconic moments like the marionette and scarlet burning down Lion's Arch and our subsequent counter-attack, most of the season, purely on a story-wise basis, was rather lame.
Even though most of the episodes this seasons were rather on the short side, I did enjoy playing through them multiple times alone and with friends. What I enjoyed the most was all the lore contained in them, sometimes subtle, other times not as well, but the lore of the game interests me a great deal. I very much liked the connections and parallels with Guild Wars 1 as well, then I feel as though I am a knowledge guru when I am asked by my friends to explain them what I know of certain content hidden here and there !
I liked being able to play as Caithe. Not because it is different than other personal stories, but because it lets you control a Destiny's Edge member. It's one small step into having tonics that allow us to transform into each Destiny's Edge member.
Don't really care for it so far. Can't wait for the big PAX announcement though, because I do love GW2 at its core. But it's long over due for a big change. Fingers crossed!
Monster Hunter since '04! Currently playing: MHW & MHGU
The best thing about season 2. Hmm... there is so many!
Ohkay, my favorite thing thing, is the fact that we get new armor, ingame, via doing quest related stuffs. If we could get all cool things ingame like this, by doing quest related content, instead of random chance drops, the world would be better for it!
I loved Priory's library story instance because it gave a great addition to our existing lore and gave us the chance to explore Glint's lair which made me even more nostalgic about GW. The music inthere was awesome too!
There too many to list ... but the top thing's I'm enjoying about Living story is ... the new area's to explore and the feel of being invested in the storyline more then just grinding to accomplish something ... Add to that being able to replay it to catch stuff ya missed when rushing through it the first time ...
Originally posted by galentknight all the new content. also GW2 if your reading this please for the love of GOD!!, remove the constant armor repair. i have to repair my armor every other second & that's very annoying.
you could stop dying that would fix your armor repairs ;D
HHHHmmm hard question, taimi is my fav loved her throughout, dragons reach part one was best cause it had the most taimi, to be spacific its when taimi is making fun of phlunt. but but but glints lair was amazing and when your under the durmand priory in the box filled room behind the boxes is a arch of the covenant which is just brilliant XD
Probably my favorite aspect of this Living Story season is the implementation of the Chapters being "retained" once you log in once during the period the story is happening. That way you can work at your own pace. Whether you want to save them all up for one big binge session, or if you need to go away for a week or whether you already played it and want to play it again, perhaps just to see the story or do try and complete these story achievements.

Ha, I like the game! Wish I had time to play it more often. New content keeps it fun.
Take the Magic: The Gathering 'What Color Are You?' Quiz.

All I can say is that I won a T-shirt giveaway here last year, and months later still haven't seen a thing. No shirt, no notice, no nuttin....
Hope GW's on the ball a bit more this time.
If you are holding out for the perfect game, the only game you play will be the waiting one.
