Low player count Fantasy RPG

DaviderDavider Member Posts: 3

Hey guys,

So basically im looking for an online fantasy RPG. I like to have a more closer community so the playercount cant be more than 500-1000. Also i dont wan't a dead mmorpg(Huge worlds, low playercount). I dont really care weither its 2d/3d but i dont wan't it to look worse than the game i currently play.

Thank you in advance

PS; btw The game from the screenie is Graal Online Zodiac, pretty fun but partially shit playerbase and corrupt/bias staff members.

I remember Graal from waaay back. crazy to see it's still alive. I can't off the blank think of anything that might fit. FF11 maybe, but I couldn't say for sure.

Some would argue a 500 to 1000 player count was a dead mmorpg, you seem to want a very narrow band.

Have you thought of joining one of the new indie titles such as Repopulation?

I haven't played in a long long time, but doesn't Ultima Online still have some shards with player populations that fit your criteria?

Maybe try Ryzom. Old indie game, few hundred players, most know each other, 3 d world, nice graphics, friendly com and gms, fantasy setting but not the usual orks and elves, sandbox..

i am not sure i would call ryzom a fantasy game, it is more of a sci-fantasy, someth like wizardry games are

If you are looking for a nice game with a good community, try Ashen Empires. Great community, and guilds are recruiting always. Good Community, the world is HUGE, but bosses are always being done, and hunting parties almost always go on. Skilling is another huge factor, and a lot of people will buy materials for house building!

GL In your conquest for a game, Ty for reading :)

PS: If you join Ashen, there are 2 servers, Legends for PvE, and Heroes for everywhere PvP except a few spots. I would suggest joining Legends, and when you do so, join in the chat "legends" It is the 'Global' chat for the server! GL

Try Mabinogi, most servers are really close-knit and most people know each other rather well, whenever they see a newcomer most jump on the opportunity to meet him, as was the case with me a few months back.  It's an interesting game, try it out.

I've been playing Sevencore lately, it has a real low player base right now. Not sure if it will ever pick up and seems like most of the players on the English server are not english. But overall a fun game with all the typicallMMO aspects.

I don't like the anime part of it, i'm not judging anyone but anime games seem to attract weirdo's.

You should tryout darkage of camelot. It has just that player count you want and it's got a large world to explore and plenty of PvP if you enjoy that.

If you are more into a pve experience you should tryout EQ2 and pick a light pop server.
