in Overwatch
How is this different from any of the seemingly thousands of military shooters!?  OMG please stop it with the damn shooters!  Ugh and I hate that view...again CoD and all the others.  Someone said pc gaming is dead.  It is indeed DEAD!  It's too bad, because graphics-wise it looks good, but it's just another spin of a shooter.  Still waiting for CoT.  It's my only hope.

    "Really!?" is this response I have when I read this post. First off, this game doesn't look anything like CoD or any military shooter for that matter. Second, why are you so upset by companies making shooters? You obviously don't like the genre, so move on to something else. I don't understand why you're here complaining.

    What would you like to from Blizzard?

    They got their RTS, MMORPG, Card game, MOBA, Hack'n'Slash. I think it's the right direction for their new IP.

    This!  If they're dominating a market, why cannibalize it by introducing another game into the same genre?

    The question should be why wouldnt they release a shooter. Its not like you have to play it if you dont like that genre.  Blizzard is smart enough not to compete with themselves when they are making bank on all the other IPs.

    It plays more like SMITE than a shooter.  Except some of the abilities are much more epic than in SMITE.  Take Hanzo's ultimate, it has a huge area of effect.  Also Overwatch's levels have layers and aren't flat like in SMITE.  Hanzo is one of my favorite characters because he can get to areas that nobody else can (except Pharah).  It feels nothing like a shooter.  I hate shooters, but I liked the couple of matches I got to play of Overwatch.

    I've been hearing that since the 90's and it's still going strong. In fact pc gaming is doing better than ever, due to (but not limited) indie sceen, crowd funding, f2p, dissapointing 'nex gen' consoles (that are in fact.. a pc, an AMD one to be specific) ect.
