Worth coming back?

Hey guys,

I bought Aion at release, and went to 28 before I  unsubbed.

Now that it is f2p, I would like to give it a try.

Is this game worth to play for the PvP aspect? Also, when can you start PvPing in this game?

How freely is the free 2 play? Any pay 2 win or anything?

New classes/zones better content updates then most mmos out on the market. They made lvling a lot easier doesn't feel like a grind like at launch. Aion's site can give you more details on everything they added. Its a lot since you haven't played since launch haha.

Currently Aion has the best F2P model. (it is truly free)

You get the whole game for free and there are no restrictions. Cash shop has only cosmetic stuff. It is the most honest F2P model on the market.

But stay away from EU version though, make sure you play the US version.

It is a good game but you have take into consideration that Aion is game create to make lost your time, everything in this game is oriented to make spend miserably your time. Apart of this if you dont care too much about bots, spam and cheat in pvp, is a good game in its base.

    Why's that?

Maybe because it is not free at all. EU version of Aion is a free to try then you need a Gold Pack that you cant get in game with starter status because you cant use AH and you are limited to sell items to a NPC, even limited to type in chat or relationship with others.

But all of this with all the crap a free to play game have in the shop. Aion EU cash shop + almost a monthly fee.

I've played Aion since beta then stopped for a while and now when it became Free to Play I started playing it again. Honestly the bots are not that many as you are trying to describe and they are reportable which gives them ban. You can deal with the spam only by blocking the player (easy as that). And as for cheating I have never encounterd any my self to know. I'm sure there are plepople cheating but don't be like that there aren't as many and of course you can always report them.

True and not true. If you have your original Aion (NCWest) account transited to GameForge (which was mandatory I must add), you have a life-time veteran status, which is better than the gold pack status...
