BMunchausenBMunchausen Staff WriterMMORPG.COM Staff Posts: 400

Fantasy MMO Echo of Soul is preparing to launch in Europe and North America this year, after a successful launch in Korea and a part of that process has involved working toward creating "the next MMO experience."

In Aeria Games' second Dev Diary, Global Development Project Manager Junhyung "JH" Jung discusses how the game brings together MMOs and mobile games and energized the traditional Korean MMO genre.

Not really sure how this is supposed to be "the next MMO". It looks worse than TERA already.

I'm not seeing anything interesting, just more of the same.

"High end graphics" look worse than even 10 year old things like PWI, same goes for combat. "Best MMORPG in a long time" just makes me chuckle and ignore it from now on.

I've watched several vids of this game and I see nothing special. Looks very generic.

I see no soul in Echo of Soul. But a girl from Seoul in the video?

"discusses how the game brings together MMOs and mobile games"

kill me now...those 2 genres should never be uttered in the same sentence. the day mmorpgs become mainstream in the mobile games genre is the day the mmorpg genre dies.
