WoW CM's getting out of control and rude?

Hi,
Im here to voice my opinion that the WoW CM's are out of control with deleting threads and being rude with some comments. They are also banning people for 3hrs to several days for really no reason.
I'll give you an example of what finally pushed me too far! I asked if Ordinn could please give us an update on the situation which he posted about new realms and a Data Center because it had been a long time sense we last heard from him? ---Well that post got deleted ASAP! Then I posted asking for the abuse to please stop! I asked them to read what I posted and explain to me how this was a problem? I thought that the new CM's were out of control. --- I recieved a 1 day suspension for Spamming and Trolling after this. I have seen many, many others complaining about this also and was wonder how do the rest of you feel about this?

Im assuming CM's are moderators. And in the forums the indians are getting restless (see my comment above), and the CM's are starting to crack down.

And the last option, they're getting worse than Sony?
To be honest, the SoE GMs and Devs do a stella job on the EQ2 forums (when they're not lying about content being in the game etc). Their business practices are debatable, but the responses and feedback on the forums for outdoes Blizzard.
But then, Blizzard are contending with 20x the population I'd guess, so they'd need to be a lot more ruthless. They definately come across as arrogant though, in the few 'blue' posts I've read.

I'd play EQ2 but you cant find a copy of it anywhere in Canada. Im thinking they pulled it due to the fact the expansion pack thats coming out will be coupled with the original game. If not they are losing alot of Canadians. No EB or any other retail store I have tried in BC has it.

It's just one giant melding pot of histeria balled up, packaged and sold for kicks ! It's seriously about time they start at least trying to make a semblance of control there. It's by far the worst I've ever seen in my life and I've been part of the SWG Jedi forums... I never thought I'd see or read anything that bad. WoW forums proved that wrong many times over.
Sure they may accidentally go over the line with situations like yours but they need to clean that mess up in a bad way.

I've mailed twink to ask him why the post was deleted in the first palce, I havn't received a response yet but I'm a completely confused about it. At the very least, if you want to accuse me of something though, do me the favor and know what your talking about first.

anyway i cant really talk ive had like 3 or 4 post deletions in the past 3 weeks, and a 1 day ban and im still at a 90/100.......

Sorry Verg, I didn't realize that's what you meant, I completely missread your first reply. And I'm sorry if it seemed like I flew off the handle a bit there, I was on a bit of a tear yesterday because I didn't feel it was right that my post got deleted especially considering what other were replying. But anyways, I realize I should take these things so seriously.
Regardless though, it's no excuse to take it out on you or anyone else so I'm sincerely sorry for that, big /hugs !

There are literally 25+ posts a day that have the title somewhat along the lines of "When are the new servers coming out???" CM's pick one thread and leave it be. They then post on the next few threads with the same jist with the following "Please do not make up a seperate post on this subject as there is already one in existance (insert link to post here)" and they lock that thread.
Your post was removed. It was one of dozens and dozens made that day most likely. As anyone who reads the WoW boards knows these types of posts are seen way to many times per day..You then went ahead and made another post demanding that they stop abusing you. Plain and simple. You posted. It got removed. You whined you got suspended. You attempted to stir up trouble with your whining. You got suspended for a bit. But now that you have no voice there you further continue your whining by posting here.
Stop acting like a kid about to have a temper tantrum. CM's can only give out the information that their bosses tell them to give. Don't you think that they would much rather just give you all the info and put a stop to the constant crying on the boards? But they cant. They are constrained by others in what information that are allowed to give out. Yet folks like you have the idea that if you spam the boards with dozens of posts daily that they will magically change their minds... And god forbid that they regulate the posts. Then it becomes abuse /sarcasm
Interesting read. Well for someone that comes across intellegent maybe read the thread you are replying to next time. I asked about the DATA CENTERS!!! I never asked about new realms. So why are you talking about new realms?
Yeah, it kind of makes you sick when you give someone your money and then they treat you like crap, huh? Sorta makes you want to not do business with them anymore. Right?
Just move on and get out of the mouth of that behemoth.
It's like trying to get Wal-Mart to care about you. Once a company gets to a certain size they just don't care about individuals anymore, just numbers. It even happened with Google. Now they're kowtowing the Chinese government. And they used to pride themselves on doing no evil. Businesses have no moral conscience, just a bottom line.
If you're looking for satisfaction from a company along the lines of caring for their consumer then go with one of the smaller MMO's.

Yeah, I know how that feels heh. I got banned a few days ago, and I was worried all day. I spend a lot of time on this forum, and I would hate to lose it. after a few hours I was still banned so I gave up and I was a little sad. the next day I tried again and My account was unbanned and there was a message in my pm folder from a mmorpg.com moderator, saying :"sorry, we banned the wrong guy"
made me feel so much better, oh well, everybody makes a mistake now and then.
but anyway, about the CM thing. I only played on EUWoW, the CM's are doing a pretty good job, they just lack information!

sad thing is that thread is better then a lot of the threads of that time. i looked at the ones for about 2 months of that year.
and if murt or any of them tried that now they would all get perma bans.......
and we all wonder why we have so few members who have been here for more then 3 years.
but they also as far as i know had 8 times the referral and reference problems we do now.....

I agree with this statement,as i have witnessed eq2 first hand.They are doing a great job on player feedback and listening to the public.Very good PR by SONY.I would have kept playing eq2 if there servers wern't so empty.That's what happens when they crack down on gil sellers,the servers become empty.Very sad player base when it appears most are either cheating,or treating it like a job[gil selling].I bet if WOW cracked down on gil sellers and cheating ,the servers would also become barren.
Wow has the largest base of gil selling right now ,and a pile of powerlevelling sites to boot.havn't checked ebay but im willing to guess wow accounts/items are in higher demand than other games.They are only in demand if people are buying.

Yes, now that I relooked at it I did leave it looking confusing by the way I stated it. I was trying to ask about the new DATA CENTER that would be also house new realms. I was just trying to get info on how the progress was going??...Not trying to ask about new realms.
In my opinion, the WoW CM's are a little too easy on the posters.
I mean, look at the WoW forums (the both sides of the Atlantic), and you will see that you cannot find in the General forums more than 2-3 threads of useful discussion or information. The rest is pure BS.
So, really, I cannot blaim the CM's for their attitude.
