Hi,
I played for a month or so in the fall, left because i was sucked into the new WoW expansion. Loved it for about 3-4 weeks. Snorefest now. Been itching to come back to ESO, and them the announcement yesterday.. Hell yah!
So, I've tried keeping up with the changes and all, but being unable to post on the official forums because Im not subbed I have been unable to ask questions.
The champion system... at first they were giving everyone 30 points as long as you have one level 50/VR1 character. Now, they are giving people points based on what veteran level they currently are? I have one level 50/VR1 character...does this mean I won't get any points? If I level him to VR2 or VR3 , how many champion points will I receive when the patch goes live?
Did they do any balancing? When I left, Destro staff DKs were pretty insane, templars were the only viable endgame healers, etc etc. Are they trying to the game into a spot where I can viably tank as a nightblade, for example?
Have they created or do they plan to create any endgame solo / solo-progression content? Im not speaking of leveling, but something challenging for solo players at max level to "test their meddle" similar to group and raid content.
Thanks!

They will award 1 Champion Points for every 200k XP you have past VR1 (note VR1=lvl50). Everylevel requires the same XP ammount now (1 million), so 14VR levels * 5 = 70CP max.
If you have a fresh VR1 that has not reached the first 200k XP, you will get 0CP.
If you level it to fresh VR2, you will have 5CP (1million/200k=5CP per level).
Once you get 70CP either with one character (full VR14) or three characters or eight, you wont get any more points. The points are account-wide.
NB tanks are viable with Siphoning skill line +1hs, tho DKs and Templars keep being best tanks, NBs do ok tanks, good healers and best Stamina based archetypes. Id say they are pretty awesome, and stamina builds are much stronger than before summer. 1.6 is also supposed to give stamina some other buffs (sets, class skill morphs specifically escalating off stamina instead of magicka..).
For the endgame solo progression content, they have already announced Wrothgar, a solo-pve endgame area that will be the home to Orsinium, the capital of Orsimers. They also announced Murkmire (black marsh) to be another end-game pve group oriented zone like Craglorn. There is already DSA, wich is an arena group based dungeon with waves of enemies (i know, not solo, but very good to test performance as you said because the scaling difficulty of waves).
