Is it still rock, paper scissors and terrible boring grind?

I roll 200, you roll 199. I lose.

You roll 250, I roll 255. I WIN.

Repeat until level 50.

Is this game still suckage?

    Yes.

I dont think the game is "suckage" however soloing isnt very inspiring to say the least.

PVP is fun, if you find players online that is.

I dont know what server you were/are playing on but Vector always has someone that will PvP with you.

Also, on the comment of soloing, if you solo any game get's dull and borring if just grind all day long. You need to get into a faction, life will pick up after that.

On the "Rock, Paper, Scissor" comment, I think all MMO's have that basic concept behind their attacks, it's just that you dont see it. Sony is releasing a new Combat System which they deem supperior, I don't know why they couldn't fix up the old one I still love it. We'll see if the game survives after CU 2.0 but a big part o this game like I already said is community. Don't throw out a game just because you only know 3 people in it, ESPECIALLY this game. It might be rough at times but the Participating community makes it worthwile, atleast for me.

    Im on Vector-Hostile.

The community is good, but the problem is that its getting smaller, and smaller.

As far as im concerned the city is now like a ghost town. A few isolated players, but gone are the days of jacking into a hardline and finding a lot of action.

Actually no, MxO's is different. In MxO, it doesn't matter how strong your attack was, as long as the opponent rolls over you, you don't get to do your attack and they get to do theirs. In other MMORPGs, you'll both do damage, just that your damage might be resisted/reduced, but never cancelled out.

Wrong, This has changed in CR2.0. Both will now hit, its now based on a resistance system,  If you score a roll over your oponents resistance it will hit the damage will be based on his defence rating like this

    you will have both a
    Balistic defence
    Balistic Resistance
    Melee Defence
    Melee Resistance

Its made more like other games now.  there are more then what I put down Im just to lazy to go over it all.

I'm new to this game, but the way i read defence can block an attack entirely (not get hit), and if you do get hit, then the resistance can cancel out a part of tha damage, possibly the whole dmg
