I read this on the Camelot Herald today.

Speaking of bans, I recommend that you NOT buy accounts from strangers for the time being. (Account sales are not illegal. Selling gold and/or items is against our EULA, but you're welcome to trade and sell the accounts themselves.) Many of the people who bought and traded accounts last week found themselves out a couple hundred bucks over accounts that were banned. I know, what a shock, the kind of loser who uses cheat programs is also the kind of person to sell his banned account. Anyway, be careful, and don't hand over any cash until you verify the account is open.

Look, I know that I am pretty naive about some things in life. Maybe a lot of things. Like I don't know why people kill people. Just the whole concept of someone being able to do that freaks me out. But when I read this on the Herald I felt totally confused.

How in the world can someone do something like that to somebody else? I mean seriously, what would a person have gone through in their life to be that evil? When I read or hear about things like this happening it really makes me sad.

Is there any way that they can get their money back from the person they bought it from? I hope so.

I hear ya man, if we all though the way u did our planet would be a much better place. People can be a low as u can possible think and even steep lower I just always try to think that at least I am not one of them and I iwll do what I can to see they dont ripp me off or anyone I know. I personaly cant comprehend how a person feels pride from cheating ?

Ya sure it wasn't a nice thing to do. But no one would have a problem like this if everyone just bought the game themselves and played it like it was ment to be played. I have no simpathy for somone who has been tricked like this, because if they can blow that much money on an account for a game they must be doing quite well.

If you paid through paypal you can file a complaint with Paypal stating you didn't receive what you were buying. Selling a known banned account would surely fall under their fraudulent sales policy. Paypal is notorious for taking the buyers side over the sellers in the case of a dispute as well, so yeah, it is possible.
