General: Valiance Online Achieves Greenlight Status

SilverHelm Games has sent word that Valiance Online has officially reached "Greenlight" status on the Steam games platform. Though already available via a stand alone alpha client, the team will be exploring ways to integrate Steam play in preparation for Early Access.

Valiance Online is a “living world” superhero massively multiplayer online game in which player choices and actions are paramount. Set at the end of the 21 st Century in the fictional city of San Cielo, players take on the roles of heroes and villains who battle using superhuman powers and advanced technology.

    It's a fun game, and I like how they have open access to the alpha, founder packs are major scams.

    Anybody can try this game out as long as the servers up and report bugs, give suggestions ect.

    Plus, we need more super hero games. I'm missing CoH. :<

    Thanks for the kind words... but I think WhySoSerious is going to be mad at us when we move to Early Access on Steam. D'oh!

    For those who don't know, this is how Steam Early Access works:

    "Get immediate access to games that are being developed with the community's involvement. These are games that evolve as you play them, as you give feedback, and as the developers update and add content."

    That being said, we plan to keep the pre-alpha open to everyone and are still deciding how we will transition when we are ready for Early Access.

    The superhero genre has room for another solid game after the closing of CoH so good luck to the developers bringing their game to fruition.

    Same ppl as ProjectGorgon?? if so they need to stop this game and just work on project gorgon.. :D

    @tedgar We do work with the Project Gorgon people and share some code/assets but separate projects.
