Can the German version of ESO be played in English

in Elder Scrolls Online
Heya I'm a English guy living in Germany at the moment . I can get Elder Scrolls Online quite a lot more cheaply if I buy it through a local shop than I can on download but I am wondering if I buy the German version  is there an option to set the language to English ? or can it only be played in German ?

    You can change it.

     

    Also, depending on which version the retailer stocks I think you'll be downloading 20/30GB of updates anyway.

    I was going to ask if I could play on EU servers even though I have a US client but I found the answer here (TLDR: Yes). Before anyone mentions latency I am moving back to the UK from the US at the end of March.
