GV has again had a huge update.
The GV team has not failed to deliver yet again a great update.
Rebalanced items, recipes and combat. Improved on the game structure and fixed some more Alpha bugs.
The team constantly releases new updates and I can tell you they are working hard to deliver their vision.
I have been a long time GV backer and I really enjoy it.
It is playable and a lot of fun. Often I am baffled when playing at the changes and progress made in the game.
Still lots to come from this pre Alfa Game

And that is bad why? Isn't this a forum where we discuss old, available, and new games? Besides, if he was a dev from the game he would at least try and spell all the words in his discussion title correctly. It isn't even that it costs me something to check it out, I guess I just got tired of seeing brand new accounts post ads for games, it makes it feel like those people really aren't telling us about the game because they think we would like it, it feels like they are getting something out of it, rather than feel like it's really a great game. I don't know, it could be the best game ever, I'm just saying how I felt about it.

hmm, I read what folks have to say, not how many times they have posted. I guess everyone is different.
I come here for information on games instead of trying to keep up with each individual title being developed or changes to those already running. Not every post here is legit, but it takes nothing to look, and it may be something that will make me happy for an entire day!
My son is really looking forward to this game, if there is something new happening and I see something about it I can link it to him at work. No posts equals no information.

I think each person has a valid point of view. Yes, it is not respected here for someone to make their first post as a gushing advertisement for an in-development game. On the same hand, why can't they act in such a way? Well, they can do what they want, but it is still a cause for concern as the account/person have not been 'tested' yet through regular engagement with the community here.
With that said, I have personally backed GV. It is certainly still pre-alpha. Many aspects still need to be improved. However, I do applaud with nearly weekly updates which are substantial. I imagine I will be playing more regularly once it hits alpha or beta. I love the concept.

To the people discussing if my post is to be taken seriously or just some dev trying to get their project to take off- GV has taken off, they are doing fine with out me. And seriously if your some big MMORPG blogger and take yourself so seriously that you believe you can judge and say stuff about this sort of bad conduct, then you wouldn't even post it here as you know MMORPG.com polices their website and delete any smurf accounts trying to do just that.
If you have been around you will actually find that the main reason games fall off the board as fast as they do it is MMORPG cracking down on smurf accounts which ends up hurting games more then any good it ever did them.
I find it extremely rude that people are trying to censor my experience and my feelings towards GV projects.
I am hyped about the dev and every single update that comes out. I live on the TS server and discuss and play. I love being part of this and have backed this project significantly.
I don't appreciate people comparing new users to insects and I feel very sad that this community is so misguided as to take it upon themselves to judge.
Yes so far this is the only game I am hyped about, I backed it and no other game so far, so how can I be hyped about new devs I don't know anything about, so what.
I am not paid to review and bump up games so I will not sit all night reviewing 50 games, only the ones I really care about so leave it alone. If I don't have massive points backing my profile I don't mind, I want to make that post and that is my right to do so in a form that pleases and portraits my experience
As to giving guidelines on how one should behave on their first post, well I read the policy and I am well within my right to say- I have not been disappointed I have gotten every cent back in terms of enjoyment and I believe that they will come through unlike other devs.
Yes It still needs a lot of work, but if you actually look at what is planned that is very obvious.
I am extremely annoyed by the community at MMORPG at this point and I hope it goes better from here on else I will just move on.
Thank you to the few who just respected my experiences and understand that I am hyped and wanted to show it, that is the main reason for this site to show support and the hype felt about these games!

Perhaps familiarize yourself with the user policy of MMORPG.com perhaps and stop being a troll in a community of gamers.
It's a bad community as far as I can see it. I don't like being judged an insect, but I agree with the view that this community is made of new and elite users, the elite troll and invalidate new users, never remembering that they are only elite because they are no longer new.
A reason for this sites existence is to gather opinion and judge how games are doing, how they are comparing and what people are enjoying or disliking.
I did not put any links in to make sure it is not taken as advertisement and also there is still an NDA in effect which we have to respect.
I like the ideas, I like their implementation and I am happy I am part of the community.
As to the reason it had an overhaul: It is in pre-ALFA. They are consistently rebalancing, adding new Items, new features, new network code.
There are still races and genders to be made so obviously there is another overhaul.
Overhauls can not be boiled down to being necessary due to people being unhappy (not that it isnt in some cases) but because the game is being developed and improved. Maybe you should look at the difference between a polished end game release and a in-development game, and maybe also their difference in funding. Perhaps spend a moment and look at MMORPG's in general and look at how many had huge overhauls just to keep up with the trend, graphics, UX UI, etc.
