I just read that they are up to publush 12.
and they have to work on the emu part now.
I am interested in making a server once an emu comes out...
Purely to play by myself of course <wink> after all, once they shut down the game I have all this client software I paid for that I'd no longer be able to use otherwise, right?
So are these people going to let others play for free or will they charge?
we (our free server) and theres (their server) has to be free or it would be illigal.
if they charge you to play the game then they break the law

and what publish do they plan to go with?
Pre-CU or CU?
Will FRS be in it?
Will player bountys be in?
How will this work anyway ? Do I need to buy the software for original SWG ? I ask because my cd's are in a dump somewhere.
Also will the game be exactly like SWG pre-cu or will you fix a few things like gunga sacred place missions, overpowered doc buffs, etc ?
I am VERY interested in this so please post more details or pm me. I'd love to be able to set up my armor / droid shop again !!!

I know FRS will be in. also when i get off work il give you a link to the forums w (you will have to register and join to see the SWG stuff) the SWG forums at the bottom you can ask the questions there and maybe the leader will answer.

How is it that they can pull this off without getting shut down?
Clearly, they (the emu folks) are putting a lot of work into this and I don't think they would be if they didn't know it was 100% safe.
The same thing that happened with the previous swg emulation. It got shut down. Good job on alerting SOE to the OP, couldnt have done a better job myself.
