Love is in the air this time of year. Stores are lines with pink and red decorations, flowers poke out in every direction, and romantic gifts are littered across the aisles. In fact, the upcoming holiday Valentine’s Day just so happens to be on a Saturday this year. That means that not only do you have an entire weekend (3-day weekend no less, due to President’s Day on the following Monday) to celebrate your love for your significant other, but most MMOs will be awash with festive decorations of love and romance as well.

Completely agree with PWI for sure. Haven't really played those others I am sure they are good too.
I was surprised the author did not mention the fireworks in PWI, however. They were basically free to players and they were some of the most realistic and varied ones that I have seen in any game.
Just let one of those heart shaped or flower pictured ones go and you will see what I mean. Framed by that big full moon glowing on the water? Gorgeous!
FFA Nonconsentual Full Loot PvP ...You know you want it!!
The Final Fantasy series from day 1 has had a sort of love theme built into their stories and the game.I can actually feel the passion that went into them.
I will admit ,guilty as charged,we often ,actually always look to the "REWARD" of these events instead of enjoying what they stand for.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
I refuse to play pay-to-win, full loot, twitch games.
Talk about your Snooze grindfest. The crafting system is as broken as all hell. And let's not even get into housing.
lol nvm

uh seriously?
this site is for gamers, shouldn't that post be about picking up girls (or boys or man or woman or goats or whatever rocks your boat) for valentine's day?!
"I'll never grow up, never grow up, never grow up! Not me!"
I actually played this for some 20+ odd years. It was great for about the first 10 - 15, then it went to total crap. Faulty political systems, noobs stealing stuff from my house, and don't even get me started on the developers. Even they went down the craphole before long... so I quit. Never looked back since.
RIP Ribbitribbitt you are missed, kid.

Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and not clothed.

My optimism wears heavy boots and is loud.

I think they should of listed Lucent Hearts too.
Decent list, but there's zero reason for WoW to have a spot.
Also, lalafell weddings in FFXIV are the cutest thing ever.
There is a lot of problems involved in playing with your GF or BF as Newbie in a MMO.
Mostly because MMOs are stuffed with rage-flaming kids that will burn your experience if you will try to play instances or other group content whatsoever. The only thing that could work is if you will stay the hell out of the Random Dungeon Groups.-But after all, that is mostly the core of any MMO, so maybe better to watch a movie or visit real people
Some nice games on that list, and some interesting sounding "dating" mechanics. But I agree WoW has no place on that list. Seriously, its ok to make a list and NOT put WoW on it.
The Author even goes so far as to tell us straight out that there is no dating or marriage mechanic built into the game, and yet he still finds an excuse to include it. Recruit-a-friend is not relevant to the article, and many many games have those systems in place.
If you are going to write a topic piece, the least you can do is stay on topic. Putting an off-topic game into the list is one step away from formal trolling. Author should be ashamed of himself and the article.
I don't like perma-death games and the flying mounts are way way overpriced. Completely pay to win.
All die, so die well.
