Star Wars: The Old Republic Producer Bruce Maclean has posted a brand new blog article that lays out the roadmap for 2015. The letter reminds players of the four pillars that SWTOR launched with: combat, exploration, progression and story. As previously announced, 2015 will be focused primarily on bringing more story to players, a process that began with December 2014's Shadow of Revan expansion.
With this in mind, Maclean has revealed the target dates and first information for updates coming this year to Star Wars: The Old Republic:
February 12th: Game Update 3.1
Hard Mode Flashpoint: Blood Hunt
Hard Mode Flashpoint: Battle for Rishi
Start of PvP Season 4
Spring: Game Update 3.2
Outfit Designer
Stay tuned for a blog on this awesome new feature coming soon!
A new story arc on the planet Ziost.
This story arc takes us to the Imperial homeworld of Ziost, where we answer many of the questions posed by the cliffhanger at the end of Shadow of Revan.
End of PvP Season 4 and the Start of Season 5
And Beyond!
New Stronghold
Playable Togruta – I kind of let the Cathar out of the bag on this one last year at the New York Cantina, but now it’s in writing!
The letter goes on to say that the items listed above are only the beginning of updates and improvements coming to SWTOR this year. Maclean indicates that as things progress further along the development path, more will be revealed.

A new story arc on the planet Ziost.
Couldn't they have at least spelled it Zeist? That would have been funny!

Gahh, that brings a bad taste to my mouth. That whole movie was blasphemy.

Well i know more then a few people who are fans of the Clone Wars series in general and Asoka Tano. So it is a logical step as far as i see it. Ad it is still a step up from the previous one as far as "races at least some people know"

Hodor!
I'll be honest, that is a year of pretty poor effort.I am not into pvp at all so there is almost nothing there for me.
About the only interest i would have is a new race but since combat was so boring for me,a new race won't be enticing either.
Story, well i know lot's rave about it,no matter i won't try and say otherwise but it is not why i login to a game. There is the problem,i login for the combat and fun of playing my character, there is nothing for me .
I left FFXIV for the same reason, awesome graphics, some cool looking enemies, but the combat was just not good enough.
In a whole year i rather see a SIGNIFICANT effort to bring something into the game that has been missing since day 1,an EPIC combat idea "a BATTLE EVENT"that brings npc's and players together to defend their home base/city.If FFXI could pull off Besieged then anyone should be able to do it.
SWTOR is not a high poly game so again it should be able to create an EPIC battle event, that takes place once a day or once a week, whatever just put something epic into the game. Also they should be adding some FUN with the weapons, there was VERY little choice at all,i would expect some combo type weapons involving primary and secondary fire for bonus damage and effects.
What i see here for a whole year is something that should only take them about 4 months tops and that is if the new class/race is only in testing phase. This to me looks like a VERY small team is working on this game.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
I'm guessing many people such as Wizardly kind of missed this part in the post:

I"m not saying that what they haven't revealed will be "Epic" but we should also be aware of all the details including the more to come aspect indicating that what you are seeing is a piece, not the whole.
Help me Bioware, you're my only hope.
Is ToR going to be good? Dude it's Bioware making a freaking star wars game, all signs point to awesome. -G4tv MMo report.
I am hoping for engine upgrade, 64 bit client, direct x 11 support and bug squashing(and for the love of god fix the damn bugs still linger from beta!!!) more than adding new content.

Waiting On: Nothing. Mmorpg's are dead.
I think there was a thread / poll earlier (here on mmorpg, not an official one ), and most folks expected togruta as a new race, exactly because Ahsoka.
I personally think clone wars was pathetic, one of the weakest, lamest product within the lore (in close competition with Jar-Jar, the holiday special, and with this new Rebels or whatnot ). Still, if EA thinks togruta sells, then togruta will be the new race, easy as that.
I know Togruta were very popular on the official forums poll too: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=765485
And TCW probably brought a whole new generation of Star Wars fans into the fold. With Rebels continuing that tradition now. (along with the upcoming movies)
I'm personally happy with the choice, as I like the near-human races better than those hideous alien freaks. =P (Empire 4 life baby!)

Is just for the 1st half of the year, read the letter, where they talk about the 2 DLC, one of them on summer and the big one, probably swtor 4.0 at the end of the year with the release of Episode VII.
I wish they would stop using the word "awesome"
A real outfit designer would be nice, but would be taking a cut of the cartel market outfits, so I'm not sure it's that. Maybe if it's made in a way that you could design for free, but to actually "print" your outfit it would cost cartel coin. That would be a nice feature though, depending on the CC cost.
A thing I want more though is appearance tabs. Extra tabs could even cost CC for all I care. Imo it would be nice to be able to change outfit depending on the planet you are on without having to carry several sets of armor in your inventory.
More story is nice I guess, but if it's non repeatable story I'm not sure it's such a great idea. If it's like the one on Oricon that ended up in us having a dayli area then I guess it's ok. Not realy what I'm hoping for but better than making content that can only be played once (pr. character) and never again.
I'm hoping for more of a forged alliance approach. Have a lot of the story play out in flashpoints, but I suspect it will be an Oricon type planet with maybe an added operations boss at the end. Maybe even a full operation.
As roadmaps go it's not looking very far ahead. To me it's more of a glimse of what's to see in the next 2 patches than it's an actual roadmap.
