Looking for a new MMO :)

Hi!

Guess you guys have seen these threads many times before :P
Im looking for a new MMO right now, getting bored of WoW after 8 yers or so. 

The problem is, I have 3 friends looking for a new MMO also. And I really want to play with them.
My favorite choice was Rift, beacuse of all the content it have, open world, mounts, acheivs, etc.

I got my friends to try it but after lvl 30 they kinda gave up. Mainly beacuse of the slow and boring combat. (Global Cooldown)

Right now we are trying FF A Realm Reborn, I just hit lvl 50. But there is something I just dont like with FF. Maybe to world is too boring for me, since it aint open world. Also I miss a DPS meter :P And the UI in FF is so ugly.

The MMOs I have tried are: Age of Conan (max lvl), Star Wars, EvE, Rift (max lvl), Wildstar (max lvl), Guild Wars 2, Tera, Lotro, Neverwinter, WoW (max lvl), ESO.

Looking for a MMO that have alot of mounts I can farm after, achievements, reputation, dungeons/raids, lots of different armor/weapons I can farm.

Last, could Archeage be something? Though I heard it was Pay to Win....

    Have you tried Angry Birds? It's and MMO and really popular.

    You've tried so many MMO's, how about trying something different:

    Wizard 101 and Dofus have both unique turn-based combat. Wizard 101 a bit like card game, Dofus plays a bit like Final Fantasy Tactics.

    Darkfall and Wurm Online are both sandbox games that might offer you something very different from the games you've played.

    Or if you want more of the same then I'd suggest Aion.

    Rift be my vote for what your looking for, as there be more armor added to the game soon, if can't raid or do dungeons, still can keep on going to gear up and get stronger.

    Mortal online sucks so much, try Warframe instead. I bought mortal from the start, it is not worth investing into.

    Yea, Rift would be my choice also. Love how much they have done with it. Though I would hope it still was subscription still. Not really a fan of F2P games. Only problem in RIft is the GCD (Global Cooldown), anyone of you think they will lower it someday? The combat feels so slow, I have not a problem with it. But my friends have tough :P

     

    FF A Realm Reborn seems awesome, but there are some things in the game that really just is meeeh. Like the UI, that must be the ugliest in a MMO ever. Also the zones are boring, and have loading for each area you go too. It is also boring to kill mobs, I want to go them after I killed them and see what it dropped. Not autoloot everything, so I dont even know what I get.

     

    Last, could Archeage be something? Or is there no PvE at endgame? And is it P2W?

    Not sure they if will change it on the GCD are there few class is not so bad other you can feel it, but there F2P if play smart you can spend same amount or even less that you would on a sub game, just don't get temped on cool looking items.

     

    Archeage break you how you feel about free to play so watch out for that one is not for everyone.

     

    FF14 the zone things is limits to keep cost down making it a instant base mmo type then open world just like gw2, don't feel open when I played. And for me didn't like how there endgame was set up.
