Cryptic Studios and Perfect World Entertainment have announced that the next Neverwinter module, Elemental Evil, will be released on March 17th. Doubtless overshadowing this good news is the fact that the ever-popular Minsc and Boo, the ranger and his giant hamster sidekick from the Baldur's Gate series, will be assisting players on their journey by educating them about the Elemental Evil cults.
In addition to that heady news, Neverwinter players can also expect:

The news you should be reporting is how they sneakily removed all of the pay to progress items from the beta store on the consoles so that console players won't see honestly what they'll have to buy end game in order to progress in the pay to progress model they have on the PC.
So when this game launches it will have a huge surprise causing an uproar in the console community! That's news you should be reporting on.
Go for the eyes, Boo ! Go for the eyes !
Have fun
PS: Looks fondly at Boo2 in the "Normandy" captains quarter .. Space Hamster indeed !
Ya, he was a party member in the Baldur's Gate series
Mod 6 is looking good. I'm going to have fun going back to all those revamped zones that now have an evil temple in them. xD
And of course I've wanted a paladin forever! It's one of my most played classes in games.
My SWTOR referral link for those wanting to give the game a try. (Newbies get a welcome package while returning players get a few account upgrades to help with their preferred status.)

ive been looking forward to this update since they first announced the Paladin. However, now looking at Paladin specs, if they cant be viable dps then i dont need to reinstall the game.
Im really tired of companies limiting obvious multi role classes to tank/support only.
DPS shouldnt even be a spec anymore, every class should be dps by default and have either tank or heal options.
It's so disgusting that this game has the rights to use Minsc & Boo's name. No game deserves to use Baldur's Gate references less then this one.
For all the players paying to keep this abomination from dying, you are spitting on Gary Gygax's grave.
I tested it and it's ok, but the devs were stupid enough to give paladins maces and then come right out and say "maces are iconic" for paladins. Keep in mind that's supposed to cover all D&D. In 33 years of playing D&D I've never seen a paladin use anything but a sword pretty much. I've only ever heard of a paladin using a hammer one time. Never a mace. Yet they say maces are iconic for paladins while their NPC paladins and statues of paladins all over Helm's Hold all have swords of one kind or another. Oh and here is the clincher. We can "transmute" swords. Which translates into spending real cash for astral diamonds. How sleazy is that? Cryptic can't do anything right it seems.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
But doesnt this make Minsc something like 150 years old since Baldurs Gate takes place in 1368 DR and Neverwinter is set sometime after 1479 DR?
It doesnt really make sense unless Boo was able to keep Minsc alive and young during the Spellplague (which totally makes sense, of course).
"Go for the eyes, Boo"!
But seriously, while I enjoyed the team in the BG series I smell some desperation here. Cant Cryptic create their own good NPCs or what?
What made the BG games so fun was the original and fun NPCs but stealing them for another game serie takes away the point of that. Cryptic should hire in one of the good Forgotten realms writers like Jeff Grubb (yeah, I think he still works for ANET though), Troy Denning,Ed Greenwood or Elaine Cunningham to make NPCs and storylines instead of just stealing stuff.
Or they could just use official FR characters.
And Minsc lived over 200 years before the setting on NW (not sure about giant minitures spacehamsters life lenght but Minsc is a regular human without epic levels of magic like Elminster). He should be long dead.
