Pantheon Community,
This is a chance for us - as a team - to ask you the community some questions, have some fun and get some valuable feedback. We get questions daily from you guys and girls, so time to turn the tables and throw some back at you!
Have fun and be creative, think about what you really want to get out of Pantheon that has been missing from your gaming experience lately.

We opted for Google Docs as it is such a large and successful platform with millions of daily users.
If you would like to have your say, it is very quick and easy to create an account, if you are worried about spying aliens, you can use any number of tinfoil hats along with free VPNs and/or Proxies.
We don't ask for your name or record your IP or any information other than the answers to the questions we have asked, so that we can use that feedback to help us while creating Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen.
I prefer to spoof over free VPN.
But, because of your reply, I may come check it out now.
Glad to hear that NorseGod!
I just saw the post you were talking about, sorry I had not replied earlier Samatman. I have replied to your thread now, I hope you find it helps explain my previous thoughts and my now current position on the team.
Thanks for the heads up!
Thanks Dullahan, much appreciated!
Submitted!
Hope you find it helpful.
Thank you Deniter, any feedback is helpful!
Thanks for taking the time to reply in the other thread Kilsin.
You're welcome, sorry it was a bit wordy but I wanted to explain it properly.
To mitigate the size/time problem I removed the need to answer all of the questions when I launched it, as it was discussed internally too that it may be a bit full on but for a first release we wanted to capture as much information from everyone as possible, since we didn;t know if we would be doing another one.
All the feedback is important to us but the ones marked *required will allow people to skip past some if they don't have the time to fill it out completely.
We are getting some amazing feedback too, so thank you to everyone who has taken the time to sit down and write such detailed and thought out answers, we really appreciate it and this will help us more than anyone can imagine going forward!
I have to agree. Thats one of the few decisions I was not impressed with. The ex-legendary hero thing is so, so tired. Its time to put it to bed.
Pantheon's world, Terminus, is a scary place with all kinds of displaced people from different civilizations and presumably different planets. It already sounds like the setting for a sci-fi horror flick (in a good way). The need for the people (players) in Terminus to gird up their loins and become adventurers and heroes is already a given. The idea that all these people were "legendary heroes" before seems redundant.
Beyond that, I also dislike the thought of my character having some identity before me. I think the best background for a character is as a normal guy (or gal) just trying to survive against all odds, who might overcome and become something more; maybe even something great.
Besides that little trivial matter, I have only good things to say about the story and features that are planned.
Thank you both very much! I really appreciate the feedback and you taking the time to give us such detailed answers
While I am normally anti-google, I felt that the feedback was more important so I logged in. Regardless, was there a reason for not using surveymonkey.com? I've seen dozens of surveys managed by their site come through my email. I even asked my wife where she would go to make a survey and she said the same thing - surveymonkey.
Also I do hope that after you have had a chance to compile the various mini essays (I'm sure that's going to take some effort) that you can give us some feedback on the direction that the results leaned.
Thanks for your feedback Samatman, the main reason was that I have never released a survey before and we use google doc among other things for internal data, so it seemed that google surveys would also suit us in this regard.
It was a test to see not only how well it is received but also how well we can view/collect the information, so I will look into SurveyMonkey and see what benefits they can bring that google (or another one) can't and see which one suits us better.
Thanks Vorthanion, that is basically what we are aiming for, so with any luck, you will be running around and enjoying the world soon
