This game's potential is way more than it looks. for an example took NWN series.
NWN series are Masterpieces in D&D based games. Nwn1 released in 2002 Still thousands of players playing it on PW servers. Nwn2 released in 2006 Lot of PW's still running and have their full potential. I have high hopes if they make a toolset and let players make their own Persistent worlds... it would be perfect. People which are in love with DnD wont care if its a clone of nwn or not.

I agree, for DM's to create their own worlds would be well, "out of this world" But more than any game out there has ever offered.
Played: E&B, SWG, Eve, WoW, COH, WAR, POTBS, AOC, LOTRO, AUTO.A, AO, FE, TR, WWII, MWO, TSW, SWTOR, GW2, NWO, WoP, RUST, LIF, SOA, MORTAL, DFUW, AA, TF, PFO, ALBO, and many many others....
They have confirmed that we definitely can make our own full-length campaigns, and we know that these campaigns can be played in multiplayer, but we still don't know if persistent worlds will be possible.

A persistent world for that group of five playing can be meta gamed.
This is how:
I am the DM of one particular group, and I have four players who consistently play the same four characters with me. I create the adventures and keep track how each one leads into the next. No adventure will ever be repeated. Most if not all adventures will be connected in some grander campaign story.
If a character dies, and is replaced by a new character or a new player joins in, they will not be run through previous adventures. This not only provides the sense of persistence for the players, but also for the DM.
This is not any different from playing PnP TT.

you know what the prob with player made quests, dungeons and rewards are?
DM makes adventure, and gives out the super awesome swooooord of a thousand thruth to his fellow mates who just finihsed his super aswesome campaign.
which took 2 mins, had no challanging enemy at all, but gives the best reward possible.
you see what i mean?
"I'll never grow up, never grow up, never grow up! Not me!"
Of the MMOs that allow player made quests - Xyson's guild quest system, Cryptic's Architect, NWO's Foundry, EQ2's Dungeon Maker, etc - can you tell us where you see this has been an issue?
There isn't a "right" or "wrong" way to play, if you want to use a screwdriver to put nails into wood, have at it, simply don't complain when the guy next to you with the hammer is doing it much better and easier. - Allein

I'm almost afraid of how much time I will spend just designing an adventure from the ground up. I may just end up playing nothing else but this game.
Played: E&B, SWG, Eve, WoW, COH, WAR, POTBS, AOC, LOTRO, AUTO.A, AO, FE, TR, WWII, MWO, TSW, SWTOR, GW2, NWO, WoP, RUST, LIF, SOA, MORTAL, DFUW, AA, TF, PFO, ALBO, and many many others....
This game has a lot of great things showing for it. Hopefully they flesh out the toolset quickly and it can really take off.
