Every game should have a trial version. Its the only reason I started playing GW2 and that was only a promotional weekend. I don't like buying anything before I try it. Its like paying to watch a football game without knowing what teams will be involved.
I started to play wildstar right Before dropp 3 was relized and i can say whit the hand on my hart that i have never hade tis fun in a mmorpg game sens I playd Vanguard. It my not be the game for evreone but for me it was the game that i can call home! I relly dont now how wildstar was befor that I only now how is it now.
I will try the ten day trial but honestly if the performance and optimization have not improved greatly I don't see my self purchasing the game even though I enjoyed the beta.
Meh, I tried the game via the old player invite system before, while it was a while back, the game just wasn't interesting enough to hold my attention. Hell, about the only thing I even recall liking was the housing system and cutscenes. And I recall HATING the class mechanics.
To find an intelligent person in a PUG is not that rare, but to find a PUG made up of "all" intelligent people is one of the rarest phenomenons in the known universe.

The first 30 minutes is an awful tutorial, the first real area is lackluster where you are led through the place so you will probably be 3 hours in before you can actually experience how gameplay is.
After you gone through the first three leveling hubs you will scream over how uninspired and themeparkish their leveling is. However, you do get new forum material.
Iselin: And the next person who says "but it's a business, they need to make money" can just go fuck yourself.
If you're thinking about hopping in, just remember that this, along with other measures, is meant to bring players in. That being said, they need to do it because of a small population, don't expect to see a ton of other people in the lowbie zones.
People are usually shouting asking if it's dead, which I think is hilarious. If it was dead could you be playing it right now?
I figured I'd get the game when it was on offer at Amazon for only £10 in December, using the 30 days that came with the boxed set as an extended trial. It was an OK if otherwise unremarkable game and while I didn't think it was worth a subscription from my point of view, no-one will lose anything by giving it a free try.
My hat off to them for actually offering a free trial, which doesn't happen that often these days.

I'm a gamer and I play games, not virtual vending machines.

If Carbine feels confident about their game and the improvements they've made, then they've done the right thing.

Can't remember what it was exactly but I do recall dreading levelling up because of it, which is never a good thing!
I am the Arch-fiend, the Despoiler of Worlds, and by my hands shall the false Emperor fall.

Lacking in numbers, definitely. Dead though? No
