I am excited for several different aspects of Skyforge. It seems like they are trying to break the MMORPG mold, and that is what we need now.
First of all, the class system of Skyforge is absolutely amazing. Starting off with three classes and then having to actually work your way into a more powerful advanced class is what first got my interest. It brings me back to the days of DAoC. The Ascension Atlas reminds me of Path of Exile's passive system and I had a ton of fun with that! It makes builds so much more diversified and theorycrafting becomes that much more important in the game.
The second thing that I am very interested in is the Pantheon. It seems to be bringing a unique twist to guilds. The unique hierarchy that it brings with the smaller clans within a Pantheon makes it exciting to see the full system fleshed out in game. The fact that you can also upgrade your Pantheon's base, or Stronghold is another unique thing they are bringing into the MMO scene. It reminds me of more mobile type games with base management, and it seems like you'll have to make careful and unique decisions right off the bat and not everyone will be going the same way at first.
Next off is the PvP in the game. Different kinds of matches, TDM, CTF, Payload, Domination (Control Points) and FFA. Everything you could possibly need in the way of game modes! I am curious to see how their matchmaking system pans out, but the promise of everyone fighting someone of the same level and being fairly equal is amazing! I do hope that the stats and equipment are equal in structured or ranked PvP, as skill is then allowed to be the deciding factor.
THE GODS OF SKYFORGE. This part seems to remind me of WoW's new follower system, but it has the chance to be even better and fleshed out. WoW's system became nothing but a grind of going back and forth between your garrison and raiding. With lore involved, it will be much more engaging and worthwhile. All of your followers aren't just with you, they believe you are their SUPREME BEING. No more just being a "hero" on the battlefield, prepare to become a god.
It seems as if Skyforge is pulling from successful games, because next on the list are Skyforge's invasions, similar to Rift's, well, rifts.. I am anxious to see how it pans out. Will it be like GW2 where there are somewhat impactful results from the ends of these invasions? Will the landscape be altered until you drive out the invaders, or will they just run away after defeating you? We will find out next week and I for one am excited to know. The invasions will have multiple facets to them and everyone will need to work together to defeat the forces at hand.
All in all, I am very excited to try our Skyforge. I was not lucky enough to get a beta invite, but I am hoping that my excitement will be able to draw in others for the game. See you fellow gods on the battlefield!
Like the many other entries enter today, I am very excited about this game for many reasons, but mainly for the awesome class system they have. The combat is the bread and butter of this game. I think as long as this game has lots of different dungeons and content to explore it will do well here in the west. Can't wait for the 11th.
Screw leveling games, give me something with "End game" at the beginning of the game.
I am super excited for Skyforge becouse everything about the game feels so great-world,character models, flyid combat, great story and last and the most important,Obsidian are also involved in this game and they are my favorite game devs.
Finally i can do with my Character what I want. The Skilltree is so huge that there is something for everybody. So a Paladin is not "just" a Paladin. He can be a Tanky one, a not so tanky one, a nearly DD one and so forth. Through the System I can choose which Perks i take. So much Stamina that i can bearly walk. So much Strenght that i can thow Cars with just one Finger. Or whatever.
The Pick is mine. Not constricted by a Class Desinger's Idea how a Class "could be nice" and also NOT by the FOTM Build of the Day. Simple as that.
This game looks revolutionary to me, it combines everything i dreamed off. The Styles, the combat, the ability to change class on the go? COME ON!!! Also the class system and the point system looks very intresting and seems to allow you to reallt go your way in making your character really YOURS. Also the ability to unlock new classes along thr way.. yep to sweet. To ask what you are excited about it just to hard! There is to much why we should be excited for!! The game had me sold by the first sentence ive read "Play like a god" THe invasions and PvE looks so solid and well thought.
I am very interested in this game, it doesn't seem like the regular MMO pre-say. Becoming a God and having Adepts and Followers? Sign me up! In all honesty, I have been waiting for this game for a year and I have so much hype!
I'm hoping Skyforge will satisfy my thirst for the perfect MMO. I want to be a Necromancer and rule the lands among the other immortals and mortals alike.
Please give me this chance. Thank you in advanced!
I been checking out of this game since first day it has been posted in MMORPG.com. I love the art and animation of the game and will love to be in checking out the game mechanic and gameplay and report back to my communities should we prepare the embassies for this game when it launch.
I am excited to play Skyforge because my friends and family have recommended it to be my first MMO style game. I hope to win so that my experience will be LEGENDARY!!!!

Normal Games : You die. You respawn. You fight for exp and item
SkyForge: You die. You respawn . Still fight for exp and item but ,you're god. You must fight for the people.

I am looking forward to this game for a number of reasons, namely the combat system and the ability to change classes at will.
