Lies & deception still rule SWG

Just read a letter Julio Torres wrote to those still playing swg.  In it he says, "the new changes weren't welcomed by all with open arms."  This is the biggest understatement of the year.

He goes on to say there's still 80% of the population still playing Galaxies.  80%????  Is this guy for real?  Even the people who continue to support this watered down version of swg have to realize and admit this is bs.  Plain and simple bs.  No way there's anything near 20% let alone 80%.  And 20% might be a bit too much too.

So if anyone has had thoughts of going back to this game, just look at these bs statements and you'll see nothing has changed in swg, nothing.  It continues spiraling downward towards its complete demise.

This guy (Torres) actually believes people are ignorant and stupid not to know whats really happened. Even though we were there and saw first-hand the way they took that game and destroyed it.  The way they showed complete disregard for all of us who stood by them for 2 years.  All the hard work and effort we put into that game only to see it vanish from one day to the other.

But you know what?  The reason he (Torres) believes he can still bs players and they'll accept it, is simple.   A small portion still pay for the right to play this has-been of a game.  The fact they're still there is enough for Torres and his cronies to continue their deception and lies.  He knows these people are gullible enough to keep paying them.  Paying for a game thats not even a small fraction of what it once was.

Therefore, if you're one of these people who although lied to, you continue to support soe then you ultimately will get whats coming to you sooner then later.  Sony's record speaks for itself.  What they did to players who were there for 2 years seems to be nothing to them.  So what do you think they're capable of doing to people who've just come in or haven't been there long?

    No, no, no. He did NOT say that 80% of the people playing pre-NGE are still playing. I believe he stated it that way so people would assume that. Here, I'll post the quote:

    "we still see that the majority (~80%) of players still in the game were playing before the changes were unveiled and implemented."

    Read that sentence very carefully. What he is actually saying is that 80% of the people STILL playing were here pre-NGE. NOT that 80% of the people pre-NGE are still here. See what I mean? In other words, it's their way of spinning the numbers in their favor. That 80% actually means nothing, because it could be 80% of 100k or 80% of 30k or 80% of 50k ... so on and so forth ... you get my point though.

    Ya the PR spin isn’t to tricky as long as you don’t assume.
    For instance;

    “I have started many businesses and helped others start businesses. I am now a wealthy man and financially independent”

    It gives the impression that I became rich through starting businesses but I didn’t actually say that’s how I became rich as I simply won the lotto. Both statements are however 100% truth.

    That's still hard to believe.

    Not really. Since we don't know what the total number is, 80% could mean anything. Could be 80% of 30,000.
