Daedric Armor looks very ugly in ESO

On top of that some of the armor they redesigned does not look as good as before 1.6, at least for me. Was kind of angry when I logged in and my characters armor did not look as bad ass as before like the red guard helmet and leggings for example. But yea, I dont know how they manage to fuck up the design of one of the most bad ass armor in ES series.

The motif in the trailer is Xyvkin aka Imperial Daedric. It'll be coming out in a future patch.
But I agree the current Daedric looks retarded.
It is kind of reminiscent of the Centurion look from the original Battlestar Galactica

In ESO environment seems good but look of characters and their animations are terrible.
All their armour looks plastic and painted on
I have an old PC about 5 years old with a Nvdia Geforce 580 GTX. May be it looks better on better systems but everything I wear looks like that.
The landscape in Teso looks awesome
The Characters , faces , bodies and Armor types look terrible to me.
honestly i think they have the wrong designer for character designs.
Only some Robes are acceptable, they look as if they were made by another designer.
The Armor in the picture left looks good but the ingame design is a joke compared to it

Both armors look pretty useless in a real fight.
I would love to see someone making a few replicas of MMO armors and let the designers of them do a mock battle wearing them. Some of the stuff is really useless.
Then again it is still better than TERAs female "armors".
And yes, if the thing would be useless in a real fight they could at least look way cooler as the minimum requirement.

But seriously the character models and textures on the characters model look very good. Almost as good as a highly modded Skyrim. How did they manage get that right but then mess up on animations and armors. While TES series has never had great animations (at least until modders did their thing), they've always had what I felt were good looking vanilla armors.

I have seen more convincing cosplay armor.

Not in Skyrim in my opinion. Someone even made a mod for the ESO Cinematic Daedric Armor for Skyrim and that looks even more awesome to me.
Thats the pic of the mod in skyrim. This is the imperial daedric armor from ESO and I hope players will get it sooner or later in ESO. graphics wont look as good but as long as the design looks like that, then I am happy.
