The game does need some fixes, but hey i enjoy it and so do many others, I dont really think it is loosing anyone becasue it hasnt been released yet so we dont know how many people it will have or how many will leave, what we do know is that it has gained alot of BETA bashers, another thing is, it isnt even the full up to date version yet, once the game goes retail we will know properly how it will do. I think it will do alright in anyway, it has a fairly good fanbase who are going to stick with it, but as with all games it has its own flamers and doomsayers, but there are also people who just dont like the game and that is also fine, not everyone is going to.
Just remember when you read posts on here about how the game is going to die when it releases and how its loosing players, dont take them all to seriously as they are usually posted by a pissed off gamer who didnt get what they expected out of the game.

After doing a lot of research (and having a few korean sites translated) the game has a lot in it's future, but the key is how long will it take to get to us. Also, through constructive critisism and hearing other peoples view points I have learned a bit of a different perspective on the game, though I still stand by it need some serious work.
The key things is that CM has stepped up as of late to open communication lines about issues and giving feedback, which to me personally builds a lot of loyalty. As for my post eariler about issues with the game: they still stand, but it looks liek they are being addressed one by one.
Try the game, that is all I can say. Either you love it or you hate it, but everyone has their own opinion.

Well i am quite shocked to see a post like this from you lol although i always found that your posts where atleast fair and constructive, i'm glad you made this post as it is also good news to me as i dont know what they have planned for the future, but to make you say what you have said, it must be good stuff. Maybe you could possibly list a few things for me and other people who are looking into the game, i would really appriciate it and it would also help fend off some of the beta bashers by opening there eyes to what the game will become.

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against beta bashers, as long as they are constructive and list fla with the game... not just THIS GAME SUX. Same goes for people defending the game tooth and nail, as if you want to defend the game come up with better material then ITS A PVP GAME NOT PVE. As for people looking for info about up comming material look below. To address the lvl cap thing, I have not seen any offical information about the increase to lvl 250, but I have heard it from 3 sources now, and one thread in beta states it will go 50 > 75 > 100.

1. New Portal Battlefield - Blackhole
Blackhole Portal can be drop from any mobs in Volcano (except boss) and any Calliana mobs in Ether.
Blackhole has multi stages and you can only take down 1 by 1 until final boss. Type-C Weapon can be dropped in Blackhole Portal. (Type C weapon has the stats of purple and intense together and lower the level restriction. Lvl30 normal sword Type-C weapon will have lower random level restriction between 26-29)
When quest complete in Blackhole and timer down to 00:00, there would be extra 3s for players. If players reach next stage within 3s, they can continous the quest. (Unknow what it means till we can try it)
2. Add extra old Portal Battlefield
Add 24 extra old portal battlefield and keep the 2 old existance one.
Add new "Boss Raid" method in battlefield.
All Lvl15-45 mobs (except boss, Elan Plaetau, Volcano) will drop portal battlefield. Also Assassin Builder series in Ether will portal battlefield. E.g Lvl15-20 mobs will drop battlefield suitable for Lvl15-20 only.
3. Change the method of using Portal Battlefield
Portal battlefield can only be used when talk with Portal Manager NPC in HQ.

Team Leader talk with NPC will open a new window, leader can put the portal in and start the Portal battlefield.
All members can click on Portal Battlefield to enter. Portal will disappear after 15s since it started.

Increase the level of mobs from Lvl35-40 to Lvl45-50. Adding new mobs 자이언트바바 and 그레이트쿠르. (God knows what are they)
5. Adjust the item upgrade sucess rate
When upgrade fail on Type-A (Purple) & Type-B (Intense), their fail rate will be different.
Type-A equipment will not break & talic will not lose until you try from +3 to +4 upwards.

<<< was one of your 3 sources. lol anyways after voting i noticed something interesting (keep in mind this was after i voted so it may be a little different for you) 20% execelents 60% ok could use some fixing 10% bad 10% sucks arse needs to die. I think this is a strong reflection of RFO's current state, if the updates and "fixin" goes well it should have 80% of its players hooked. Bluedagger i don't really understand your post are all the things you listed below what have already come from the korean servers? or is what you want to happen? cuz most the korean servers i've read about has those things.
I voted for sucks. It doesn't really matter how much they add to the game, I'm never going to like it becuase of the PvP. I knew going in that it wasn't designed around 1 on 1, and I can accept that, and was even excited to see how it worked, but after playing for a while I'm just hugely disappointed.
1) Too many stalemates
When you engage in battles that are remotely even in terms of levels and numbers, it's almost always a stalemate. You gang up on one of their guys, they gang up on one of yours, yadda..yadda...eventually enough people die that those left can't do enough damage to overcome the potion spam. Stalemate. This applies to both random pickup PvP, as well as Chip Wars. In this sense, you will never really find a fair fight. In order for someone to win, they will have to have higher levels, greater numbers, more reinforcements, or all 3 to win. In my opinion, you will always be seeking some unfair advantage. No amount of singular player ability will overcome these advantages due to design, and in the end, the battles become as pointless a PvP system as I've ever encountered.
2) Where is the skill element?
Again, maybe it's just my westernized free-thinking butt that enjoys letting it's imagination run wild, but I can't get into this whole army of clones thing. Not only does everyone look the same (which I don't mind if it helps performance), but they essentially BEHAVE the same. Your own individual skill as a player gets you very, very little in this game. There is no creative way to branch out, or use your abilities in unique ways. Everyone in your class essentially has the same gear, abilities, and opportunity to use them as everyone else. It truly is very clone-like, and to me, this is a nightmare.
3) No fluidity of movement
Running, strafing, camera pan, jumping, dodging, ducking and using terrain to your advantage is non-existant in this game. If you are into games like Prince of Persia, God of War, F.E.A.R, CS, DOOM and any NUMBER of other games, the controls in RF will drive you nuts. It's not just a matter of adjusting to them, it's the fact that even if these elements of control existed, they wouldn't affect your gameplay anyway.
Beyond these things, I refuse to pay neither the electric bill, nor the monthly fee required in order to mine afk for hours and hours and hours on end. When I play a game, I play it, and that's it. I want to enjoy it while I'm there, and when I'm done I'm done. NO WAY do I understand how anyone would pay for a game that just about requires you to stay plugged in, just to right click a button and fill your bags with ore. This really, above all, is the most ludicrous thing I've ever seen in a game. I really do question the personalities of people who find this interesting, rewarding, or in any way satisfying.
I rated this game a 5/10 and I will stick with that. The PvE has it's moments, mostly due to the fast paced and non-existant downtimes. I really, really like the party dynamics. It is probably the easiest game I've found to group in, while at the same time putting such an emphasis on it. At the end of the day though, it just doesn't keep my interest. I played for a week or so, unplugged for one day, and just wasn't ever motivated to log back in. I made it to level 26, and although I know there are some new things available later, based on the things I've already mentioned, I'm just not interested in going farther.
I've said my peace now I guess, lol. Play it, don't play it, whatever. It wasn't for me.
To me this just feels too much like Lineage 2, but a different setting. (I will probably repeat a few things otehrs have already said, but this only further proves the points)
-No customization Pretty much everyone looks the same at a certain level and there is pretty definate sets of the best armour and the best weapons in the game. Not much room to be creative.
-Pot reliablility I'm not sure how most people feel on this subject, but I hate PvP based games that rely so much on healing potions. Battles can turn into borring healing potion drinking fests. Not the kind of PvP I like
- Grind Grind Grind I know this isn't a "western" mmorpg so everyone expects a grind. But why should we? Good games make getting to the end game almost as much fun as the end game (if the end game is less fun, this is not what I would consider to be a good game).
-No future I am not saying this game is horrible. But I will never buy it simply because it brings nothing new to the table that hasn't been done before really. In a few months time other mmorpgs will release and many of them will try new things. The games trying new ideas are going to be the ones to look out for, not these re-hashed versions of older games.

<<< was one of your 3 sources. lol anyways after voting i noticed something interesting (keep in mind this was after i voted so it may be a little different for you) 20% execelents 60% ok could use some fixing 10% bad 10% sucks arse needs to die. So basically as many people LOVE the game as many as people who dislike it, and everyone else thinks its ok with potential. I think this is a strong reflection of RFO's current state, if the updates and "fixin" goes well it should have 80% of its players hooked. I just hope it does because if things stay exactly the same as they are we are in trouble.
Bluedagger i don't really understand your post are all the things you listed below what have already come from the korean servers? or is what you want to happen? cuz most the korean servers i've read about has those things.

I voted for sucks. It doesn't really matter how much they add to the game, I'm never going to like it becuase of the PvP. I knew going in that it wasn't designed around 1 on 1, and I can accept that, and was even excited to see how it worked, but after playing for a while I'm just hugely disappointed.
1) Too many stalemates
When you engage in battles that are remotely even in terms of levels and numbers, it's almost always a stalemate. You gang up on one of their guys, they gang up on one of yours, yadda..yadda...eventually enough people die that those left can't do enough damage to overcome the potion spam. Stalemate. This applies to both random pickup PvP, as well as Chip Wars. In this sense, you will never really find a fair fight. In order for someone to win, they will have to have higher levels, greater numbers, more reinforcements, or all 3 to win. In my opinion, you will always be seeking some unfair advantage. No amount of singular player ability will overcome these advantages due to design, and in the end, the battles become as pointless a PvP system as I've ever encountered.
2) Where is the skill element?
Again, maybe it's just my westernized free-thinking butt that enjoys letting it's imagination run wild, but I can't get into this whole army of clones thing. Not only does everyone look the same (which I don't mind if it helps performance), but they essentially BEHAVE the same. Your own individual skill as a player gets you very, very little in this game. There is no creative way to branch out, or use your abilities in unique ways. Everyone in your class essentially has the same gear, abilities, and opportunity to use them as everyone else. It truly is very clone-like, and to me, this is a nightmare.
3) No fluidity of movement
Running, strafing, camera pan, jumping, dodging, ducking and using terrain to your advantage is non-existant in this game. If you are into games like Prince of Persia, God of War, F.E.A.R, CS, DOOM and any NUMBER of other games, the controls in RF will drive you nuts. It's not just a matter of adjusting to them, it's the fact that even if these elements of control existed, they wouldn't affect your gameplay anyway.
Beyond these things, I refuse to pay neither the electric bill, nor the monthly fee required in order to mine afk for hours and hours and hours on end. When I play a game, I play it, and that's it. I want to enjoy it while I'm there, and when I'm done I'm done. NO WAY do I understand how anyone would pay for a game that just about requires you to stay plugged in, just to right click a button and fill your bags with ore. This really, above all, is the most ludicrous thing I've ever seen in a game. I really do question the personalities of people who find this interesting, rewarding, or in any way satisfying.
I rated this game a 5/10 and I will stick with that. The PvE has it's moments, mostly due to the fast paced and non-existant downtimes. I really, really like the party dynamics. It is probably the easiest game I've found to group in, while at the same time putting such an emphasis on it. At the end of the day though, it just doesn't keep my interest. I played for a week or so, unplugged for one day, and just wasn't ever motivated to log back in. I made it to level 26, and although I know there are some new things available later, based on the things I've already mentioned, I'm just not interested in going farther.
I've said my peace now I guess, lol. Play it, don't play it, whatever. It wasn't for me.
To me this just feels too much like Lineage 2, but a different setting.
(I will probably repeat a few things otehrs have already said, but this only further proves the points)
-No customization
Pretty much everyone looks the same at a certain level and there is pretty definate sets of the best armour and the best weapons in the game. Not much room to be creative.
-Pot reliablility
I'm not sure how most people feel on this subject, but I hate PvP based games that rely so much on healing potions. Battles can turn into borring healing potion drinking fests. Not the kind of PvP I like
- Grind Grind Grind
I know this isn't a "western" mmorpg so everyone expects a grind. But why should we? Good games make getting to the end game almost as much fun as the end game (if the end game is less fun, this is not what I would consider to be a good game).
-No future
I am not saying this game is horrible. But I will never buy it simply because it brings nothing new to the table that hasn't been done before really. In a few months time other mmorpgs will release and many of them will try new things. The games trying new ideas are going to be the ones to look out for, not these re-hashed versions of older games.
