It just seems interesting how people can't think out of the box. So many people have "grown up" with leveling in MMO's of late that they just can't imagine any way to do it differently. Kind of sad really. Makes me wonder if most of them go through life trying to level themselves up. There are so many other ways to measure "sucess" so way ever have an ARBITRARY level assigned? Play the game. Get better at it. SET GOALS. Play towards said goals. Enjoy the progession that way.

I always laugh at threads like this, because if the person needs something to keep them occupied to keep playing other than having fun, the game is doing a terrible job at being a game.
If you need to quantify the worth of a game by how much of your time it CAN take up rather than the amount of time you WANT it to take up then you need to perhaps refocus your priorities to.... I dont know.... accounting or civil law?...
If the game is fun, there is no other reason needed to play it, is there?
