In-between MMO's Lost trying to find new one.

I've played a little bit of everything last few years, between Gw2, WoW, EvE, FFXIV, Archage, LiF, etc list goes on, and on. (Having played fairly hardcore amount of game since about 2005)

And idk theres just something I've been missing from almost all of them is just sense of accomplishment, or community either makes me not feel into the game or distanced from the social aspect of it being a MMO, example of that is Tera, Love the combat etc, but I totally feel alone playing it.  (I don't do well with entirely singleplayer games)

So in short, I'm looking for a newish game that I can catch up still in, and has some degree of sustenance, can be generic F2P of course only if it has something interesting to offer that will keep a more hardcore player like me hooked.

Just looking for some suggestions, Thanks.

I would advice picking a game you've enjoyed, and finding a good guild to play it with.

To me it doesn't sound like the games were the issue, but rather your approach (played it like a single player game by your own words).

If you're looking for some game that's impossible to play solo then... I can't help you, as I don't think there's going to be many of those around.

My SWTOR referral link for those wanting to give the game a try. (Newbies get a welcome package while returning players get a few account upgrades to help with their preferred status.)

Are you a member of any guilds? They may support games you could try or that you might like.

You said you've been playing "hardcore" since 2005. I'm assuming this means time, effort or probably both. Has your life changed a lot since then, and you can't dedicate the time or effort that you used to? (This happened to me.) Maybe a case of burnout and you need to go "on break" from online gaming for a while.

You said you felt "alone" in many recent MMOs, said you don't like single player because you want to be with other people online, and listed several games like GW2 and FFXIV. Grouping is fairly easy (especially in GW2) but I don't know your playstyle. Again, I've found a good guild, or just a willingness to PUG or even talk to others is the key.

There are almost too many "newish" games to count, but I guess it depends on your definition of "new". It sounds like you already know about everything released in the last 5 years.

Sorry to play 20 questions, but it's hard to throw games out there unless we know more. :-)

My advice: maybe go on break, then come back and take a new look. Or, if you are ready to jump in, I would find a good guild and play whatever they are playing. :-) My two coppers and all that...

Dude, WoW and PoE are all you need, seriously.

Or if you're a WEIRDOO, you can try The Secret World, I just like it for dressing up though, o-o.
