Huge patch

Is it just me....

 

i am downloading a >25G patch to get my game up to date, last logged in early March when my subscription ended...  This is fracking huge.  Anyone else having this?

 

 

Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)

    did you have 1.6 downloaded yet? the justice and champion system patch. Its about 25 gigs.

    This has happened to a friend of mine before. It seems like occasionally, when loading a patch, the game will do a file check on all content or something of the sort - meaning that it will basically go through all previously loaded data, deleting and adding files when necessary. At least this is my assumption. I have experienced updates that were ~1gb, while my friend on the same day had a ~25gb update, approximately the size of the original game.

    Expect another "update" after that as well that is approximately the size of all post-launch content, maybe around ~4gb IIRC

    This patch is 800 MB.

    Of course, if you didnt update since launch it will be beigger.

    Actually 1.6 was around 25 gigs, not a problem with the launcher.
