Run faster

in Final Fantasy XI

I think they should do something about them running because to me they run too slow they need like sow or something if you dont know what it is refer to everquest. Is it just me who noticed it or does anybody think they should run faster?

    thieves get flee, at lvl 20 you can rent chocobos

    The speed seems realistic to me. Who would run at top speed the whole time? A brisk jog seems good.

    It's all relative.  No matter how fast a character ran by default, people would think they ran too slow without some sort of speed-enhancement.

    Characters in FFXI run at an adequate and realistic speed for me.  <shrug>

    it's so getting from A to B actually means something... like venturing from one part of the world to other, to accomplish a mission. Works well for the anticipation of the battle. I just did the first Boss fight, killing the dragon near Windhurst.. alot of walking/ferrying/choco'ing getting there and back, but i'm glad of it for the simple fact.... it'd suck if you could get anywhere in the world in a matter of a few minutes!

    Ninjas with AF armor run faster, however I am not sure if it is only at night or not

    I think that the running speed in fine. I was surprised that my little Taru can keep up with the big people. :)

    Also, it gives a lot more incentive to check out the chocobo scene when you are cool enough.

    The run speed is cool with me too, it makes getting that chocobo at lvl 20 all the more sweeter! *nice chocobo*

    well the running speed is fine but i think the towns... at least Windurst could be smaller... I really get sick of running back and forth around town. They could have chopped one of the four parts off at least... Also the feilds and stuff are very long. Maybe they could have added a few more sites to see in each area to keep it more eye catching. *shrug* I still love this game and all so it's all good :)

    Also i hear there will be an update to the game like dec 16th or somethign that will allow people at lvl 15 to ride chocobos. (which i disagree with!)
