Looking for an Entry level MMO playable on a Macbook.

Title says most of it. I've been trying to introduce my girlfriend into gaming hoping to find something that she will be able to pick up and enjoy and preferable we can play cross platform. She currently has a 2013 MacBook Air. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

    Well I will probably get shot in the face for this but I would say WOW. its's more "friendly" and it will run on both a mac and pc. I played with an ex in game from level 1 and it was an awesome experience. You can explore, share and so all kinds of stuff as a couple. Plus it isn't as tedious or have a steep learning curve like other games,

    Thats what ive heard from most. Im willing to have her try WOW for the tree trial however I would also like to find more free to play options.
