LF Survival-Sandbox Game/MMO

ArchvillainArchvillain Member UncommonPosts: 6

Hi.

Im looking for a good sandbox mmo with some survival, crafting etc. Have been looking at Xsyon and Life is Feudal and want some suggestions and recommendations about those games or any other game that u can think of.

Im NOT looking for a hardcore pvp game, but i dont mind some sort of pvp, want to be able to harvest, hunting gather and building things without being ganked all the time, some deaths can i take but not all the time. And i want a game where my house etc is safe, from other people, so they cant destroy it. Hunger, thirst or something like that makes it more realistic. No cartoon world or characters.

I prefer if its a mmo even if i mostly play solo, like to see a living world around me, talk and trade with others.

Hope u can help me find a fun game...

if your main interest is in "harvest, hunting gather and building things" and you are not hanging on graphics too much, you can take a look at the following games too:

    haven & hearth

    wurm online

    istaria

    7 Days to Die.

It's not an MMO, but it has far more good stuff than the ones you mentioned above. And you can find a server to play on with other people (or make one yourself for you and your friends).

You can also find a good co-op server, and skip the constant ganking you're likely to encounter in the other games.

My SWTOR referral link for those wanting to give the game a try. (Newbies get a welcome package while returning players get a few account upgrades to help with their preferred status.)

Savage Lands or Rising World ... both in EA both very playable and fun .. personally i would go with Savage Lands... As it has a really great Fantasy  enviroment wrapped up in a Survival/Crafting  game ..All kinds of servers to fit your taste .. or practice on yer own abit ..

you could try GRAV on steam, its in EA great graphics, survival sci-fi , lacking on population but still im having alot of fun with it.

well it depends - imo as far as survival (combat) goes, it is far superior, as far as sandbox stuff, it is far inferior

I think Life is Feudal is kickass. I wouldn't be biased or anything though. ;P
