hello i am just looking for a mmorpg who recently opend a new server, so that i wont fall to much behind.
Played a lot of different mmorpgs, so im open for anything ::)
thanks!
None at the moment, of all the games i am familiar with they either have 'reduced' the number of servers, or there aren't multiple servers to begin with. Even FFXIV;ARR, has numerous servers but their all pretty much heavily populated, and have been for a while. SW;TOR, reduced server numbers, ESO, no servers to speak of, as its a megaserver or instanced game, so 'servers' are spawned based on population at any given time, which is i think the method that GW2 now uses.

I think I know what your looking for. An mmo where everyone is learning at the same pace.
Well, I've been in many open batas for brand new releases and its amazing how everyone seems to already know the mmo inside and out, then everyone is power leveling, MOST EVERYONE !.........Everyone is flying across the screen getting there kills and gone.
I belonged to a professional guild for FF14. Opening day of bata we were all on voice chat and the Captions were instantly commanding everyone to do dynamic events to power level. It was so irritating that I logged off voice, only to get comments like "why don't you like us ?".
Several were already crafting high level equipment by evening.
If your looking for an mmo where everyone is on the same pace your probably are not gonna find it.

I've always had limited time to play MMOs, so even if I'm there at early head start, it's only short matter of time (2-3 weeks) before I'm far behind a good portion of the speed running crowd and by the time I hit max level many have long since quit the game entirely.
So I really don't concern myself whether I'm on a new server or not, and now restrict myself to games where it largely doesn't matter (few in number though they may be).

I was just about to say the same thing.
If you want to stay "equal" with everyone, you'd better be prepared to put in sixteen hours a day. =P
Not to mention, even if it's a new server on an existing game, those experienced players who know the game through and through are always going to be outleveling a newbie. So if you're hoping for a "server first" or similar achievement, be prepared for disappointment.
My SWTOR referral link for those wanting to give the game a try. (Newbies get a welcome package while returning players get a few account upgrades to help with their preferred status.)
This is another reason why the old games blaze more in people's memories. New servers did generally happen occasionally. There is definitely something to joining a server or game in its infancy. Games generally only have new servers at the start and then collapse things today and the open betas and paid betas/fake alphas are removing the ability to really have an even start at the beginning of a game.
If anything, I have tons more fun these days in the beta phase of a game than when it is released. Pre-release is the only time you get that old days feel to a game where the community is better and everything isn't pre-known.

to be honest i started with runescape at 2004 and since then i played a lot of mmorpgs, but now i just want to explore a "new world" without falling to much behind, which doesnt include players who are power leveling or rushing the game through.
i remember when games like "silkroad" still opend new servers, or maybe new servers additionally to patches/expands.
To many games out now without a steady grown community since 2008.... i should just wait for bless or BDO
Games should make new servers every couple of months. Said new servers would have a bonus to experience and be temporary. 5 days after you hit max level or after 4 months, you would have to transfer to one of the other servers. Guilds would be able to send ghosts in to recruit people.
You want a molasses server... one in which the faster you try to level the slower leveling becomes... it dynamically calculates the rate at which you are leveling and alters your experience rewards accordingly... in essence, it punishes the rabbits and rewards the tortoises.

Yeah, but though the greater amount of fun comes at release or "early access" the whole "release" a new server was always horrible.
In the long run there's never enough people to sustain the population and then in several months there are always "new" people asking for more servers. That's not sustainable.
My thought is that any game needs to somewhat lessen the difference between "top level" and "noob" as well as give bonuses/rewards for inviting newer players along. Also, make it so that low level people can still have a great time and not feel that the "fun is something that comes in the future".
Additionally, not have "noob" areas but have areas that are noob friendly. This way high level and low level players can mingle, ask questions, join guilds, get help, etc.

I understand your concern and there is a few ways to resolve your problem. One of the way is to have sick skills in pvp where you can farm with pvp points your pvp gear without playing 24/0 or join a good guild and they will help you out.
For example in Aion gouvernor situation.
Anyway we all are waiting for a fresh mmo because of the recent mmo market fail.
I am going to give a chance to cabal 2 and don't really care about flamers because it's not the graphics that makes a game good.
Your other chance is to wait 1 year for Lost Ark, Lineage E, Bless, Black Desert etc, some say Albion but i think you need some action
I do not know if you noticed but someone else said Everquest is opening a new server with slowed progression and I think 3 months in between expansions.
Seriously, yes, its not a new server, but it doesn't matter as being a new player you sort of live in a different world from everyone else, and it doesn't matter if someone has tons more skill points than you, just means they can fly more ships, but for the same ship with the same loadout, it takes X skill points no matter how long you have been playing, and they have made the newbie frigates really worth while now

I agree dude, this is the sad reality of gamer's.
We always hear the phrase "i don't care about graphics because it is about the game and FUN".Truth is it is all about how fast you can gain a level or a new skill for that Diablo type game. The faster the kills the better, bonus xp weekends ..YAY,nobody is playing these games for FUN,they all take it way too serious.
Then it gets worse, they are all aiming for some end game,to try and prove "Hey i did it,i have the elite gear,i am the best".
The chances of finding a group of gamer's to hang with and just have fun is VERY VERY low.
Then of course 99% of every game makes it impossible to have fun with other's because the design is based to solo 90% of the time.
So there is a LOT of negatives in game design right now and in the way players are playing the games...FUN?Pfft i have not seen a player play for FUN in a long time, but watching Twitch.tv i see a lot of cursing and swearing and anger.

League of Angels and other similar games open constantly new servers, but if you want a decent game I don't think there are any.
EDIT: I think Everquest 1 is opening new server soon.
