Rift was awesome before Storm Legion. Pvp was open world, and everybody loved it. The current management including the present CEO should all be let go. They need to bring back open world PVP and save this game.

If RIFT isn't your cup of tea, play something else.  There's no reason to crap all over a game you don't like.  I mean, I don't like SWTOR, WildStar, and FF XIV but a lot of people do.  Good for them.  No skin off my nose.

Yeah you measure your PVE-peen. PVE raiders are some of the worst kinds of people in the gaming community.

Off Topic: I remember in EQ2 on some of the "angry raiders" or just raiding guild forums, thinking these people were some of the most filthy mouthed, arrogant, self absorbed arses I had ever seen. Their life seems to revolve around their e-peens.

Having said that, I've raided with some other guilds where it wasn't all about e-peen measurement, it was more about just have fun with it and work together. But those guilds weren't built around raiding exclusively or they were too small for people to be jack*sses and get away with it. :-)

ON Topic: I was an original Rift player, and did think the PvE was always fun. Like another poster here, I kind of hit a wall at Storm Legion but that's the way of it sometimes. PvP was good but I would not have said the best in the whole world. Mostly subjective I guess.

GOOD. I always HATED games that had special PvP gear for the kiddies that just queue all day long. Play the whole fucking game, or go play something else.

Kind of going off topic here but all of GW2's PvP is @#$@ - it was so bad they had to give PvP bar none the best rewards in the game (reward tracks are far beyond anything else in PvE or WvW) to attract enough PvE people to make it "viable...."  and those people just afk for rewards.  Their whole joke of an e-sport focus has and will be their downfall.  Rifts PvP was ok at launch and spiraled down fairly quickly to the pile of stinking @#$# that it is today.  The stupid zerg go round Conquest, which is now gone, was actually the most fun which is sad in and of itself.

I would be extremely happy and it would easily be my main mmo, if Rift had a (much) better graphics engine and better  animations. That would be enough for me.

All Time Favorites: EQ1, WoW, EvE, GW1
    Playing Now: WoW, ESO, GW2

Played Rift until level 38 or something. I liked the character graphics, some of the new ideas they implemented, and the crafting was ok too. The landscape graphics looked somewhat sterile though. Also, the replayability value was next to zero. The reason for that being that a) the classes were so versatile that everyone could do everything, so you didn't have the urge to play now a ranged guy or a healer or whatever, since all could do that, and b) you had no choice where to level. You just followed one path. If you'd play a second character on the same faction, you'd have to go through exactly the same content again. The music was nice but the sound effects sometimes just decent.

Let's play Fallen Earth (blind, 300 episodes)

Let's play Guild Wars 2 (blind, 45 episodes)

So you hate pvp there's no need for your comment about hating how pvp players get rewarded.  It has nothing to do with what you want out of a mmo so best just keep it to yourself and leave us alone.  The new system allows them to pvp and get your precious pve gear how do you like that?

Rift was about endgame raiding in pve and pvp.  The replayability was due to trying to master different builds for each class.  I found that fun and challenging unless you just goto youtube and look at builds all day which ruins all fun of gaming for myself.  Yes classes are very versatile but figuring out how to make them work is a different story entirely.
Are you onto something or just on something?

I know right, it's hilarious someone thinks thats good pvp.....

There is a guild in every EOTM match I'm in with the same name EOTM.

They do nothing but keep switching while sitting in mumble The faction leaders for each faction are all leaders of this guild. I'm actually in the guild but it's just laughable someone would think that's good pvp. There is never anyone actually pvping it's people doing nothing but ping ponging keeps for the karma train......

Anymore it's basically just a leveling zone, heck you can level in there now faster then normal PVE..

That is a terrible point of view, some people just like to pvp. If they find a game that does it well why should they find something else just because they don't play the pve part? I see some absurd posts on these boards, so irrational.
