Are we able to drive cars YET?

I remember that one car chase scene in one of the Matrix movies. I also like to drive cars in MMOs and taxi the players to their destinations.

However, the last time I heard (many months ago), there were no driveable cars in this game. Can we drive now?

Besides, if SWG already has driveable and passenger-able vehicles, why shouldn't TMO?

Warning: I could be on NoDoz caffeine pills so I hope I don't post anything outrageous!

I dedicate this song to The Matrix Online & Asheron's Call 2 -- the games I hoped to play someday but had bit the dust before their prime.

    I have no idea. I been hearing stuff about it. I haven't logged in a few weeks but you should check the offical forums. I don't know how offical the "noise" i hear about vehicles are. Rumor has it also were due for a major overhaul soon so maybe that will be part of it. ::::40::

    Would be really nice, even enough to start playing again.

    But I seriously doubt it. I'm pretty sure the only thing SOE will be doing with MxO's version of CU, is completely screwing up the game.

    Why the hell would you need cars? Missions are all indoors, the game takes place in a giant city, there are teleports everywhere, since you'd be limited to the streets it'd be quicker to just super jump. It'd be pointless.
