Dragon Knight Healer [HoT/shield] build + video

HoT, heal over time with mutagen and enegry orb works hot! I just got the morph today together with shielding and altar (not sure about altar yet) it is fun

Healing staff 1: Healing Springs/Structured Entropy/Mutagen/Healing Ward/Igneous Shield Uti: Devouring Swarm

Healing staff 2: Dampen Magic/Overflowing Altar/Blessing of Restoration/Bone Surge/Energy Orb Uti: Magma Shell

Im still changing skills, I not sure yet about Entropy. Altar, dampen Magic and Blessing of Resto. It also depends on the situation. Purge for maybe entropy when you need to purge or in pvp. Overflowing altar for dk armor in pvp or pve when you need some survivebilty. I made a video form a dungeon on veteran mode on those 2 bosses my undaunted orb could be morphed into energy orb and I really like it!!

    The only skill I think your missing is the elusive Space Bar skill.

    I think he meant your formatting before you edited it... although who knows, maybe he likes jumping a lot? :)

     

    IMHO, you're overdoing it a bit with the heals. You could help out a bit more with offensive skills. I just healed VOM myself yesterday with my Sorc with just 4 healing staff skills slotted and my 2nd bar all offense with AOE damage and AOE root as well as a couple of nukes.

     

    Healing staff spam + the right passives and gear means you never run out of magicka even if you do DPS a bit on the side.

     

    But whatever works is good.

    My 2nd weapon is almost irrelevant since I hardly ever use weapon abilties -- just sorc and guild abilities. Currently I use 1HD + Shield as my 2nd weapon just so I can level it up a bit and take advantage of the better blocking and bashing. The only ability from that I slot is Defensive Stance for the spell reflect.

     

    I also use a Destro Staff at times and even a 2HD. But one weapon is always a Resto Staff even when I'm not healing for the better Magicka regen.

     

    I use the SWAP addon to quickly switch to any of my bars when soloing world bosses, questing, PVPing or whatever. Makes it easy to change play styles quickly. One of my builds is even a Sorc Tank build :)
