According to several published reports, Geralt's beard will grow over time in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Unless one's character wants to be unkempt, Geralt will need to visit the barber every few days for a spa treatment. Luckily, however, there will be a DLC that will stop beard growth so worry not for razor stubble!
If having a foot-long soup-catcher dangling from Geralt’s chin isn’t your style, you can download a free Beard and Hairstyle DLC pack, which will freeze any style in place. “When you download the free Beard and Hairstyle DLC the growth of the beard will stop because we decided that when players want a predefined look, it would be weird to require from them to reapply it time after time,” explained Platkow-Gilewski.

LOL! That sounds like me.
Whenever I encounter someone with beard envy I think "I'd gladly give you mine, then you'd see what a pain in the ass it is after a while."
And didn't Fable do this too? (To a lesser degree?)

It's why Geralt learned Alchemy in the first place, Kit.

Of course how silly of me he uses alchemy not messy things like bladders and udders.
In Fable you did grow older as in your hair turned grey and you got wrinkles, but I don't think your beard grew. If I remember correctly, you just went to a barber and he/she either grew or cut your facial hair according to some presets.

Thank god... Why am I participating in a conversation like this, I ask myself?
