We’ve teamed up with the ESTsoft folks dive deep into Cabal 2’s six unique classes.  Last time it was the Cloth wearers, and this week we’re focusing on the death-dealing leather-wearing Force Archer and Force Blader.

    I am so hyped for this game. I honestly didn't care for Cabal very much, but this looks like a revitalized Aion combat style. I desperately need to get my tab-targeting fix and recent MMOs have not been doing it for me.

    mobs sure dont go down easy.  even when they`re 3-5 lvls below you.

    MMORPG.com, and likely most other MMO sites from what I can see, will post most things that a developer gives them that's appropriate.  And honestly what would the alternative be?  Would they turn down a developer sending them a summary of a game's upcoming classes or updates or other news just because that developer's game isn't "hyped" enough?  That'd be kinda... mean.

    I don't know how this game will turn out to be(prob nothing remarkable) but they sure did a hell of a job in the combat animation department.

    after playing in their focus group testing this game is a big improvement from the first one. if  you have never played Cabal, Cabal 2 is definitely the one to play. While Cabal 2 has been underhyped it is much better then the overhyped Echo of Soul

    In case you haven't been paying attention, there isn't much in terms of MMO news right now. Cabal is somewhat popular in Asia too. You clicked and commented so...

    Yea, I looked at the UI and even the class icon and I though "isnt that the exact same UI from Aion?!"

     

    Looks almost identifcal.

    Why do classes have to have such elaborate names these days? Force Archer? Shiny Master Knight...

    Back in my days we had Archers, Warriors, Mages, Cleric, Rogue. End of story.

    Funny I was thinking that it resembled RIFT, but thought it was a decent Promo vid.  Loved the narrator voice.

    Cabal was/is a popular MMO (mostly in the East), so it's not out of the ordinary it's sequel would be featured.

    No one else noticed that GM Icee called the Force Archer a Wizard when it cut to the Battle Mode segment? Made me laugh, thinking she not only didn't proof-read what she was scripted to say. But that it didn't dawn on her or whoever edited this video during or after recording. XD

    And here i thought Cabal 2 wouldn't be seeing the light of day in the States until 2065, i don't think i was expecting a beta so darn soon.  o____o

     

    I'm even more shocked that i had a ESTsoft account... has it been that long that i simply don't remember? D:

     

    Aaahhhh... i have fond memories of Cabal.... memories bordering on levels of sadomasochism, but memories none-the-less.  xD

    I suggest you both re-watch the video and listen more closely to her sentence structure, because she never accidentally called the Force Archer a "Wizard", she only makes reference to a Wizard a couple of times.

     

    Starting at the .32 second mark in the youtube video.

     

    "The Force Archer; while not sporting the super-high-damage-glass-cannon-potential that a Wizard carries, is still a formidable opponent in the battlefield..."
