Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to let you all know that our very own Chris Perkins (Joppa) will be appearing as a special guest on the Theory Forge Twitch Stream tonight at 5:30 PST/8:30 EST.
The topics will be:
1) Music in MMORPGs
2) Pantheon's return to a social, community based MMORPG experience + player interdependency
3) The challenge of bringing innovative ideas into a spiritual successor
So make sure you tune in to watch and listen as Chris discusses Pantheon with the Theory Forge team!

I have been watching his stream modeling the war staff. I am really impressed by him. As much by his sense of who he is and his confidence in his work as I am by the work itself.
I am fairly certain the Theory Forge team will upload it once it's finished mate but I will look into it to make sure.
I think you mean our very talented Monty (John Diasparra) who streams often showing off his world building, sculpting and moulding sessions! He is the one who created the War Staff which was awesome I might add
Hey Kayyd,
This is indeed our Lead Artist John "Montreseur" Diasparra you are referring to. John and I dual-stream our World Building together as much as we can and he has done a fantastic job of inviting the community into that process. Glad to hear you've been able to enjoy some of the streams so far - I hope you can make it to the Theory Forge episode tonight!

Lol. So your saying Joppa didn't suddenly grow a long beard.

Hahaha his beard is growing but not that fast! :P
This game will scare off 99% of modern mmo players. Mob training is back!
You stay sassy!
Chris is live now and talking all things Pantheon on
The stream just wrapped up, some great discussion about Pantheon and MMORPGs in general, thanks to the Theory Forge team for having us on!
Awesome information! Thanks to the TFF for hosting and for everyone showing up!
Looking forward to that update!
Thanks Kilsin for the link.
I think I read somewhere the other day that the team is working hard on a new build which you are eager to show us. Do you have an ETA when you will show another ingame trailer?

You're welcome mate, hopefully around 7-10 days we expect to be releasing a new update, the team is working hard to meet some deadlines and if all goes well I will be able to get something out to you all either at the end of next week or early the week after.
I will push it to all platforms after releasing it to our Dev site first though so you should see it pop up as soon as it's released
We got an ETA. Looking forward to see the trailer. Thanks.
I'll have to break out my "Train to zone!!!" macro's

As info, I hadn't seen the link posted yet for the TheoryForge twitch stream with Joppa. I listened to it/watched it last night - it's definitely worth a listen. Link below:

Thanks Raidan!
I pretty much agreed with everything Joppa said. He should have straight up told that one guy that the game is not for him at all. He was clearly a "please hand everything to me" type person.
And I never understood why people with busy lives expect to progress at the same rate as everyone else. The world has never worked that way since the beginning of time. You'd think hardworking people would be less entitled, not more....The times when I'm busy I just enjoy the journey even more then the destination.
In otherwords, casually leveling slower then normal does not make the game unplayable I'm sorry. I've had fun on p99 one hour a week and Pantheon won't be anywhere near as time consuming as EQ classic I can guarantee that.
I understand what you mean, though I think the way Dullalhan said it perfect when he stated the below in another thread regarding this subject.
"Maybe you don't have the time to gain entire levels or complete entire dungeons in a play session, but at least you experienced challenge, took risks, learned, or met people, made inroads and perhaps gained some experience towards a level and logged out knowing there is more to achieve the next time you log on."
I fully agree that the game might not be for Tsagh, though I also believe that it may not be for him to be an end game raider, however this game will certainly satisfy the want and need for adventure with friends. So I think it's best to state how the game is going to be made and let people pick for themselves, however remind them that part of the adventure is how you got to where you were going in the first place.
