General: Linda "Brasse" Carlson Now Part of the Trion Team

GamesIndustry.biz is reporting that Linda "Brasse" Carlson has joined Trion Worlds as the Director of Community Relations. Carlson was formerly Community Manager at Sony Online Entertainment and was subsequently laid off shortly after the company was sold off by Sony and became Daybreak Game Company.
"Linda is a unique talent and a strong advocate for player communities," said Trion CEO Scott Hartsman in a statement. "She's had tremendous success in fostering and growing communities both inside and outside of games companies, and we couldn't be happier to welcome her to the team."

You mean copying everything that was wrong with the Korean version? Replete with the same failed PvP centric model and WoW linear questing? AA was destined for failure. All the shortcomings of the bad in MMO's.
Sandbox means open world, non-linear gaming PERIOD!
Subscription Gaming, especially MMO gaming is a Cash grab bigger then the most P2W cash shop!
Bring Back Exploration and lengthy progression times. RPG's have always been about the Journey not the destination!!!

good news. Linda was a real loss for daybreak, but a good pickup for Trion.
to anyone who was really into EQ back in the day, she was fairly iconic. so much for fostering community relations
