Star Trek Online: Season 10 - The Iconian War Goes Live

Star Trek Online players will want to head into the game to check out Season 10: The Iconian War. Season 10 kicks off after five years, two expansions and the gathering of a galaxy-wide alliance to help fend off the greatest threat ever faced.

Two former Voyager series members have joined the STO cast, Robert Duncan McNeil as Tom Paris and Lisa LiCicero as Miral Paris and whose talents will be utilized in a pair of episodes that herald the commencement of the Iconian War.

New Iconian reputation gear is in the game as well as the completed Pilot Specialization feature. Lastly, Sector Space has been totally overhauled from eighteen separate sectors into three distinctive and quite large quadrant maps.

    Level of excitement = 0

    This game took the Star Trek name and created yet another lackluster and uninspiring creation.  When, when are we going ot get a decent, Star Trek game?????????????

    yay constant lock boxes , gamble for content , gamble fro  paid item upgrades  ,oh have an old ship you paid rl money for  you need to upgrade it again  to make it use ful ! want something new thats 30$, pwe takes things and they go right to area of no interest at all

      So far I'm most excited that they have the talents of McNeil & LiCicero reprising their Paris' roles.  I'm still hoping that this Season 10 & newest Reputation System adds something new innovation-wise to the game overall.  Otherwise it does seem pretty stale & just a new reiteration with a new title of the same old same old.  Their Delta Recruitment event, still active, impressed me & it's fun too despite creating another alternate character.  I still haven't invested anymore money into the game since they vanquished the dilithium item store last year.  I definitely don't play the game as much anymore neither, but I've had a bit of fun with my Delta Recruitment event toon.

    guess they got the same guy doing speaks for neverwinter trailers, doesnt sound good in any of them though sadly.

    it is golden cow , I am back after two years and for half year spend more than 100$, what ever, this is fun game  and not bad mmo!

    I liked timeline , my favorite in ST universe,post  Nemesis happenings !

    Actually its a pretty bad game in lots of ways.  Look at the reviews, player retention and even the comments on this site and others.  Most people have a very negative feelings towards it.  Most of them are also Star Trek Fans who expected a game that was not delivered according to the promises that were made, and I know, I was there for the whole beta and first 6 months.  I gave up, came back, gave up, came back and finally about a year ago I finally accepted this game is what it is.  You can put chocolate sauce on a turd and call it a treat, but in the end, its ultimately a turd.

    I played the game for about a year and also enjoyed it.   Sure it is all about combat.  What MMO isn't?   Sure it could be better.  Same for every other MMO out there.

    Used to be like you until they started making the first series of draconian changes. In fact I'm a lifetime member and I left this game while back because not only do they treat their science career players like trash but they also have nerfed XP to insane levels (which is also causing problems outside of the end game) they charge for everything now, and they also made everything RNG trust me after experiencing enough RNG you will get tired of it too!

    What's sad is this game actually used to be better than it is now as far as progression and options are concerned. Even with the bugs.
