Square Enix has published a new benchmark trailer that actually gives quite a bit of information about the forthcoming expansion including new skills, monsters and individual limit breaks. The benchmark will be available for players to try out on Monday, April 27th.

    Bit ironic that it's a benchmark video yet the encoding quality is really low.

    The video is low-def, but well, it's amazing nonetheless. Can't wait for the launch of the expansion! I'm curious to see how DX11 implementation looks on Eorzea.

    I can't comprehend how they can't get their video encoding sh*t together.

    Then again, it's not like this is the only problem with their web team. Such an incompetent bunch.

    Its niconico limitations, the japanese stream thing that they use.  

    There's a 1080p video out now on reddit.

    Really nice trailer! Tho, I can´t help but be a little bit underwhelmed by the new environments. They look very bland and similar to me so far.

    I hope they have some more distinct and unique locations up on their sleeve.
