Based on how you acted on the Paizo forums, yea. You've accurately described yourself.
I was usually accused of being a bitter dick, because I refused people's BS about the game not being released. Even though always quoted Ryan's own words, fanboys refused the truth.
And you kind of continue to do so. Sometimes your arguments are that you can't judge the game because it's not finished, and the rest of the time, you argue that the game is finished, to justify the paying subscription.
And by the way, if you go back 20 months ago, you will find me fighting hardcore with Bludd, Andius and Xeen. It was borderline personal insult, I even was banned three days because of something I said to Andius. But strangely, I wasn't a dick at the time, I was considered the great guy defending PFO, lol.

You were almost banned for defending PFO on the PFO forums. If that doesn't tell you something about your general behavior buy a mirror man. Then you ragequit for reasons akin to finding a green M&M in your dressing room. Both the CEO of the company and your guild never understood WTF happened.

They're stupid.
If you can afford wasting 1.6k $ in PFO, you obviously don't need them to make good money. And who would buy a PFO account anyway?
RD is the bomb. Every CEO I'm proud to know is a passionate workaholic that will tell you how it is anytime anywhere.
Every single PFO account that goes up for sale gets sold almost immediately. Don't take my word for it, check out the pazio forums.
So please, review the game. I'm sure it will spawn other reviews of the game. Some people are gonna rail against it and call for vendettas, others will be colored curious by the method to the madness. We could use the publicity, to be honest. The only thing keeping me from loving the game right now is lack of players.

I don't see the point of answering the rest of your post, but what you're saying here is extremely interesting. It's been a long time I wanted to talk about that.
Indeed, I was almost banned for defending the game, and it does, tell something. It tells that Paizo forums are NOT PFO's forums, and I happen to think that the moderators from Paizo are very objective, and not at all biased.
And I think that it is the reason why Ryan has a tendency to openly slander his players, like me or Bluddwolf. He just can't ban or moderate us, and we can freely criticise the game without the risk of punishment, as long as we are polite (and I must be polite enough, since I haven't been moderated ever, for my critics against the game).
Ryan can do nothing about the critics against his game, on the very forum which is still used by a vast portion of the community, and was the only forum, at the time I quit. And it makes him going mental.
Anyway, if you want to know why I "ragequit", don't hesitate to come talking on my private TS, you're welcome, you obviously have a problem with me, but I don't have any with you, I very much liked talking with you, I even intended to give my DT to you at first, but I thought giving it to Xeen would troll Nihimoon and Decius better. But I don't want to pollute MMORPG.com with personal issues, so if you want to talk in private, well, you know where I am.
I don't have anything against you personally Audocet, buit there are PLENTY of harsh critics on the forums who manage to not get banned.
By the way some of you people kinda need to get with the times. We live in an age where the POTUS does a self deprecating skit on the Colbert Report. Say what you want about his politics, the man won twice. We live in age where the owner of a small company is EXPECTED to rub shoulders with his employees and clients on social media. They even got a pope who was willing to come down from his high horse and talk eye to eye with the common folk. So when Ryan Dancey, CEO of a tiny gaming company rolls up his sleeves and wades into the fray on forums to defend his game, he is doing exactly what he is supposed to be doing in his position. If you don't think so, get with the times brah.

Fixed that for you. Dont for one moment think that any of your examples arent carefully staged events to give the impression of them being casual with the rest of us. It is all spin though. Trick is to make it look like it is not. That is how the times are now...

Ryan does an excellent job of interacting with us on many levels, but when he becomes defensive about a perceived question of opinion, it often fails. His blogs are excellent, his descriptions of how systems work, his information about where the game is going, how it's proceeding, the background and the reasons decisions are made are all excellent and one of the best things about supporting the game.
As soon as he interacts with someone who doesn't like a decision in which he is invested, there's at least a 20% chance the wheels will come off and undo a month of good work.
Look, there's a saying in spanish that roughly translates to: "If I stick it in you moan, if I take it out you scream". So it cracks me up that after DECADES of "mushroom" treatment (leave em in the dark and feed em shit) from gaming companies that had everybody in a hissy fit, now we have CEO's that engage you and are open with you and god forbid, human beings, and the gaming community gets into hissy fits about that too.
This of course will have different people come in and say, "so and so of such and such game" does it right, but you go on the forum for their game and you find the same whining and complaining.
Personally, I prefer the guy who is constantly engaging and I'll take the occasional F up. I hate the mushroom treatment. But to each their own I guess.

The POTUS may stage therm but your average small business owner on facebook/trip advisor/whatever sure as heck didn't have a script writer when he engaged with a hater. That's the modern day version of "word of mouth" used by hundreds of thousands of small businesses today. A social media presence usually patrolled by marketing/owner type and 99.9% of them don't even have a professional social media manager.
My company actually has a social media manager and dabbles in that for other businesses. I think RD does a very good job.

Dunno I just looked and it appears to be 3 or 4 accounts for sale for a few days with no interest...
If there is no screen shot, there is no proof. I find it very suspect that an account, even with a Destiny's Twin, and with no prepaid time supposedly sold for almost $500. That at best was a $100 account with 4 months of play time when it was picked up during the kick starter.
I was not joking when I told Goodfellow that he should charge $2000 for his account, which has almost 2 years of game time, a DT and control of a settlement.
Played: E&B, SWG, Eve, WoW, COH, WAR, POTBS, AOC, LOTRO, AUTO.A, AO, FE, TR, WWII, MWO, TSW, SWTOR, GW2, NWO, WoP, RUST, LIF, SOA, MORTAL, DFUW, AA, TF, PFO, ALBO, and many many others....
Ok I checked the paizo forums and indeed it seems people are trading accounts for usually around 400$. That's an insane price for a game that doesn't look that great.
I'm not talking about the graphics or animations btw, I can ignore those if the gameplay is appealing.
But as I was honestly curious about the game and tempted to give it a try but decided to watch some gameplay video first, I found this one, focused on pvp:
It's 2 weeks old so I assume the gameplay hasn't changed much since. It convinced me to play something else instead.
I will be doing a series of blogs on it to review it in the upcoming weeks... The drafts aren't pretty at all. If that's a sign for what's to come if you will. I think I'll be finishing the first one within like 2 weeks.
Who said this won't be perfect after all we know what is right And the sounds of bodies clashing is enough to make them cry. You know this cannot be perfect even when it is feeling right. And the sound of bodies crashing echo through the night.

For people that like where they see it going, the premium is on accounts that have Destiny's Twin (two toons gaining xp for one sub.) and often a few months backlog of xp to get them started. If the game works, it will be a great deal. If not, it's a terrible price.
Yup. Destiny Twin accounts sell fast for about $200. Ask for more, you might sit on it a while. I've seen plenty of new players buy them as well as old hats. Non-Dt accounts are pretty much worthless, may as well just buy a fresh one.
