From SWG to now

First game I ever played on-line is SWG back in 2003 about a month after it came out. To this day SWG is the only game I stood playing as long as I did, for 2 years. And the only game I built more then one character to its full level. I had three different characters, all masters of two or more professions.
Once I left in December 2005 I tried many other games but I haven't come close to repeating the same as in Galaxies. I've only had one character in each of the following games I've played since leaving Gaxaxies.
I tried CoH, got to level 38 with a Tank then left. No missions to do 'til level 39 and I was bored with not much to do.
Then EQ2, got to level 20 with a Mage ( I think it was a Mage) then quit. Empty servers and game was boring.
Tried Matrix on-line in its beta stage (somewhere along the line) but quickly left. Game was terribly bland and everything was green with no color. Didn't bother to try it when it officially began.
Went to WoW got to level 60 with a Druid but found the game was all hype. It wasn't as good as some people claimed. I left that too, without looking back.
Started Planetside. played about a month and got bored. Nothing much to do either, but kill and get killed over and over again. A simply mindless game.
CoV. Began a MM/Robots which I kinda liked but I knew once I hit top level (40) which I did, it wouldn't be any different then CoH. No missions to do or much of anything else either. Quit that too. Once its expansion comes out I'll probably get it. But once I get to level 50 it'll be the same thing all over again with no missions and nothing to do so I'll wind up quitting once again.
Recently began Guild Wars. Much better game then WoW. Got to level 20 with a Tank, its top level but I'm also bored at the moment. I still have missions I can do but other then this, nothing else which to me is boring. I need diversity to keep me interested.
SWG was the only game I never really got bored of playing. Before the CU came into play that is. I don't know if there will ever be another game similar to the Galaxies of old with all the things you could do. The one thing I do know is, I'll never play it again nor anything run by SOE. NO matter what they do SWG will never ever be the same again.
Vanguard Saga of Heroes is about the only game thats very similar to SWG in many things to do. And its the only game I'm currently waiting on.

I was even able to make my jedi from SWG thanks to a priest type class that has hooded robes
. Graphics are good, game is deep, theres guilds/guild wars, bounties, crafting, exploration, econemy.
As far as "space" it feels like what JTL should have been. And it seems to be a pretty brutal game as far as combat and whats at stake which i like allot.
Allways being in a space ship is kinda weird but the space content is deep enough that it seems to be a non issue.
Im doing the beta right now and im 90% sure this is where ill stay for awhile.
Other than that Pirates of the Burning Sea is the only other game im really interested in hopefully the Dev's can pull it off.
