Vainglory: Super Evil Megacorp Hires Former Wargaming Executive

Super Evil Megacorp, the makers of mobile MOBA Vainglory are clearly confident about the future of their game since this week they announced the hiring of former Wargaming Asia Pacific Managing Director, Taewon Yun.

As reported by Gamasutra, the announcement indicates that Yun will be leading Megacorp's expansion into Asian territories such as Japan and Korea. Vainglory was tested in Southeast Asia before its release in the West, and clearly, that experience has led the company to believe in the game's growth potential in Asian markets.

"Vainglory proves how much opportunity there is for core games to thrive on touch devices," stated Yun in a press release confirming his new gig. "I’m very much looking forward to expanding Vainglory and Super Evil’s reach in the [Asia Pacific] region by hiring more top talent, establishing partnerships and helping to bring Vainglory to as many core game lovers in the region as possible."
