I have accepted the offer to come back to Camelot for 10 days. I look forward to playing my old characters, but first I need to find what servers they are on. It has been awhile since I last played.
1. Can someone tell me if there is an easy way to find out what characters you have on what servers and how you do it?
2. Is there an easy way to switch between realms on the character select screen when you don't have any characters on that server and if so what is it?
3. Is there a way to switch between different servers without closing out DAoC and starting it back up and if so what is it?
I am using the ToA client if this helps in answering my question.

1. Call Mythic tech support and ask. I doubt you'd wait on hold more than 5 minutes max. I never have.
2 . If you don't have any characters on that server, just select which realm you want before you get to the character creation screen.
3. No you have to exit out of DAOC and log back in to select a different server. Unless I'm mistaken Kunou?
Good luck

1) Not really, easiest way is to just log onto each one. Unless you want to do like Joe said and call, Support MIGHT tell you.
2) If you don't have any characters on the sever you can switch realms by clicking on the Realms button on the bottom of the Character Creation screen. Once you create a character on the server that button greys out and is unusable. Of course that doesn't apply to Gaheris, Mordred or Pendragon where you can switch between the realms freely.
3) Not at the moment but that is in the plans to be added soon. (Logging out to the server select screen rather than desktop.)

Note on #2:
On a CLUSTER if you have characters in a realm on another server in the cluster you are forced on all the other servers to choose that realm. So if you can't switch realms check the other servers in your cluster, odds are you have a character on one of them. The Herald (http://www.camelotherald.com) has a server list that shows what servers are in which cluster.
Enjoy!

Thanks guys. I do not know what is wrong with my ToA client. The SI client lets me switch between realms on the servers I don't have characters on and on Gaheris. When I log onto my TOA client instead it will not let me switch between realms after I select one even I do not have any characters created. I have to close the client and load it again to go to another realm even if I do not have any characters created on that server.
Thanks for that little extra, Elnator. That explains why some of the servers were set to Hibernia even though I didn't have any characters created on them. I still can't figure out what is wrong with my TOA client.
Do I really need the TOA client. It was downloaded from the link in the step #3. I don't really care for how it makes my characters look. Do I need the TOA client? I mean am I missing out on anything for this 10 day come back trial if I play with the SI client instead of the TOA one?
When I play DAoC with the SI client I get this message after I log in:
You are trying to log into an account that has access to expansions beyond Shrouded Isles. However, this computer only has Shrouded Isles installed, so you may find that you cannot access some content. You may be unable to run parts of the game. Please log in using the appropriate client shortcut, or install the expansion(s) before attempting to play.

If you're using the SI client you won't be able to access the ToA zones and content. In the Classic and SI zones you'll be fine though.

Thanks again.
So you are saying it is fine to uninstall the Trials of Atlantis client? It won't cause me any problems unless I wanted to enter Trials of Atlantis or something, right?
