Its that me or wow cummunity is one of the worst i saw, people dont help each other, battleground are simply horrible, everyone farming drop loots, priest at lv 60 are godlike character because they can run a dungeons and his party, and thus 70 % of server population are hunter or rogue on alliance and on horde itas 70% shaman and warlock.
I been in there for two month and im already tired, i only hope ddo will be has fun wow was in the first 40lv. I hope theres no grind.

Whannnnn Whannnnn dat is the sound of 20 year old babies
Only two months and you're already tired of it? What class have you been playing?
No, the game does suck. Those of us that are still playing it are just doing it as a practical joke on people like you. GuildWars is the game for you. I am begging, PLEASE go play GuildWars. You'll love it honest. Just stay away from Wow.
Sincerely,
People for the Betterment of the WOW Community
I think its because of what makes WoW successful. They took everything that worked from the basic MMO mindset and threw it in WoW. Instead of trying anything revolutionary like other MMOs do and risk killing the game. But when you look at it, its just more of the same. And people are already getting bored at it.
Kai
GuildWars sucks. I have it, its just filled with bots and little kids who spam "l33t"
Get out of the WoW boards with you think it sucks, and if you dont like the game quit.. No one is making you play and no one cares if your quitting.
Posting what ...
WoW is having problems with populations and the AQ events has been crashing server and GMs aren't even acknowledging the problems. They just delete the one who posts it and ban's them from fourms. Tell me how that get anything done?
WoW was fun for awhile but the little kids got on my nerves and the graphics started to bother me. WoW is directed more towards the more casual player and I like to have more of a "game" than that.
Sad that you won't play EQ/EQ2 because it is SOE. They have have done the complete opposite to EQ2 as they did to SWG.
EQ2 has a better community on the count of the higher difficulty and system requirments. It filters out the little kids for the most part.
allright mate listen to me...
the problem isnt the game its the servers.. depending on wat server ur on u will find more of a certain race/class
on my server i see alot of orc/tauren shammy's and i mean alot lol
try a bunch of different servers and u will see the communities are very different on each
Anyone's perspective on the game will be partly true, depending on the circumstances. There are immature players and sociopaths, but there are also good citizens who help make the community better. This happens in any game or event where you have a huge population. It's not really something Blizzard can control. Kids act like kids.
As far as distribution of classes, it will really depend on the time of day, the server, and any game-balance changes. I don't think we really have access to information as to how many classes are really being represented.
I am sorry if you do not enjoy WoW. It has its pros and cons. I also look forward to tryng out DDO, but I do not think it will have the same mass appeal as WoW. Then again, that might be something good for you.

i agree with everything you said besides this statement, there is something blizzard can do about it...but for whatever reason they chose not to.
i have been playing blizzard games for a long time, and i have also played other online games.....and believe me when i say that it doesn't have to be like this.
all blizzard games have always had horrible community's, hence the term "Bent kiddie" all the while playing games like eq,eq2,daoc...feel like a completely different world from a community standpoint.
blizzard could moderate their forums better for starters.......they can actually ban people for posting pornographic and hate messages, witch they do not do regularly.
and the crap i see in game in public channels is just awful, people report these things and they get nothing more than a slap on the wrist.
blizzard is obviously just after the Almighty dollar and does not care a whole lot about community....that is fine, but to believe there is nothing they can do about it is a bit naive, no offense intended just my honest opinion.
read this http://www.vanguardsoh.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1044304#post1044304 then come back and talk to me about the vanguard/soe fiasco.....
If you can successfully manage a 5 million+ community and keep everyone happy then I will be inclined to go along with your opinion. A mass murderer's 16 bucks a month is worth as much as a nun's 16 bucks. Blizz couldn't care less if they fail to get along; it is not their job to ensure that everyone is of the same religion and likes to hold hands. For that, they created a Guild system where players can associate with whomever they wish.
Yes, I have played Blizz games since the first Warcraft. The communities for each of their games have always been full of immature players like you said. I stopped getting mad at them and found that I was happier as a result. You can't control the immaturity of others, but you can control your own thoughts and actions, and who you want to associate with.
After having a customer support job for another understaffed company, I can actually believe Blizz is doing fine, given that perhaps hundreds(?) of people are moderating millions(?). At the moment they close accounts and lock threads for posting all in caps, advertising, or obvious troll posts as they are found. Screening out abusive players/posters requires time because everyone deserves a chance -- and then there is an issue of interpreting words and actions. A pearl of wisdom for an 8 year old kid may sound like an idiotic troll post for a 25 year old hardcore gamer. What one player thinks is fun might be a very uncool thing for another player. Basically, it involves time, money, and boatload of manpower to sort through all the nonsense.
Yes, there is always something that can be done in an ideal sense, but then there is the bottom line. We could have a fair judicial system. We could have fair and equitable healthcare. But we don't. What matters is sales and supporting those sales, not policing the squabbles of little kids. Is it worth it to invest in hiring more forum moderators and GMs to enforce good behavior? Or, would you rather keep your staff lean and mean, while shoring up sales and technical support? From what I see, even the complainers still continue to pay their monthly fees. Are you still paying? I am...
Call me naive, but I would ramp up sales first, and strive for utopia later.
