Nice Garrik, thats a pretty sick video for sure. I really love this game and can't see how anyone after watching that video does not. Amazing graphics and fun gameplay if you don't like that then this game and probably site isn't for you.

Most people who do not like this game do not hate it because the graphics are bad (because obviously they are not), they don't like it for many other reasons. Good graphics don't make a good game.

But to try and stay on topic here, nice video.

Yeah i have to say, that video is awesome, it not only shows the graphics but it also shows some of the gameplay features, such as fun combat. I really don't see how anyone could say that those fight scenes don't look fun .

Fun... about as fun as Progress Quest. About as difficult too.

And now I realize all you need to do is throw out some shiny anime-esq character designs and the fanbois will become so hoplessly enthralled with the game no matter how shallow, dated, and poorly designed it is they will think it is the second coming. I can be in a row-bot! It is awesomezorz! Look at the bewbs!

Features:

1. Awesome character creation! Why burden others with looking even somewhat unique when you can be one of many clones! Don't worry about choosing different weapons or armor, we have narrowed it down so everyone of your level and class wears identical gear! We do the thinking so you don't have to! Be part of the clone drone army now! We built it for old out dated hardware in Korean internet cafe so it work wonderfully on your PC!

2. Fun and exciting combat! Other games force you to react to changing situations with haste or work together as a team... that's UN-FUN! We give you 2 special abilities that you can spam over and over while gorging yourself on potions! But wait, you get more specials as you progress! No, not really... we just wanted you to think so. We will just make big damage numbers float up to make things seem exciting! Forget using status effects or crowd control, our highly advanced MOB AI makes certain you won't need them! Mobs roam in small circles drooling on themselves until you find that lucky one to combat err harvest! Gogo mob farm!

3. Compelling story! Ok, if you read the lore on the website it's not bad... but we didn't want to burden players in game with any story elements. Go fight! Fight and win! Fight for prizes! Just fight damnit, and pay us our monthly fee.

4. PvP - Ours is bestest pvp! Lots of peoples! Looky looky! We even make it easier by assigning convenient times for war! War on schedule! Please feel free to gank lowbies in the desert when war is not convenient. We will even make it capture the flag style but call it Chip Wars and make you excited! We can smell the excrement err... excitement!

So what it basically boils down to is that RF is a stripped down easy version for the kiddies and because of some shiny anime bits they suck it up. Then they like to defend it no matter the faults, no matter how shallow. BF2 has more "content" and I would argue better compelling story and combat. Take that as an insult when a FPS beats out a supposed MMORPG. (there's no RPG for RF though)

And no - grind does not = difficult. Grind = pointless timesink to keep little Timmy subscribing and is no more difficult than farming. Welcome to the next generation MMOs... dumbed down for the kiddies and masses. Such a shame - PSO on Dreamcast in 2001 had more depth and gameplay - better graphics too.

So if that combat looks amazing and fun to you, I think you truly need to put the bong down.

Hehehe, watched the video just now. The graphics are good, but the gameplay only reaffirmed that this game is for little boys or men with inadequacy problems.

Oversized weapons and big damage numbers are the tell-tale signs.

The fight with the female was nothing but a big white blob in the middle of the screen, sorry, not impressed.

I have not seen the game in action before this and even though the character design is very nice and sylized the combat looked extremly boring.

The chracters did not move around. They just stood there and took a beating. There did not seem to be any variety in attacks. The combat was very long. The damage numbers had very little randomness in them and it looked like:

monster hits you for 4000

you hit monster for 700

monster hits you for 4000

you hit monster for 700

monster hits you for 4000

etc..

monster dies

My personal taste is in minimal "special effects" so the big flashes of color and the particle system did no impress me visually.

Unless what I saw takes a lot skill to do (other than the ability to hit auto-attack that is), I must say that this game is not for me.

The graphics look nice but the combat system seems like its for children..I did enjoy the visuals of the fight with the accretia cyborg against that other huge mech at the end tho..I still will probably buy the game at retail and try it out for a month..Theres nothing else to play right now and I make more than enough money to buy a 50 dollar game and hopefully it will keep me entertained for a month..

Hmm i was about to log when i stumbled onto your link .Really sad to say i didnt enjoy that at all.The battle system is ridiculously fast.The player was swinging or shooting at insane speeds,i could hardly follow the action.The screen was spammed with a million damage numbers wich shows them hitting each other at crazy speeds.With this insane speed is there any time to play reaction?or just button mash?I wouldnt see any skill whatsoever with this type of battle system.Load your best weapon armour and attack.

If this is a high level player video then how are these videos showing a player so easily soloing grouped mobs?The player meshes/textures are horrible.This looks like a 12 year old kid game that plays some times like mech warrior and sometimes like tekken.I am very happy you posted this video as it deffinately is not a game i will buy.Now i don't need to follow this game anymore.

Flame on np..but that video does the game no justice whatsoever.I'm not even sure i would play this for free,highly doubt it.Whew i almost bought his game too.

You obviously didnt follow the game vey much anyway, as you seem to have no clue what it is actually like at all. The videos are showing what "can" be done at higher levels and just a bit of the combat. As for the spamming of numbers, well when you use an attack skill you usually hit about 3 times in a row so it pops up the damage for all 3 hits, if you are in a MAU (the mech) then it shows the damage for every shot of the machine gun burst. It not so fast that you cant react lol, sure its quite fast but nothing super speed. You would probably be best looking into the game some more.

And to everyone else who liked the video, im glad you enjoyed it .

Just watched the video. My god, what a boring looking game... wheres the skill involved in that? Hit the monster till its dead and watch all the pretty numbers fly! yeh, sounds like alot of fun ... maybe 12 year olds or people who are easily impressed will enjoy this game, but I think more experianced games would grow tired of that shallow gameplay pretty quickly...

But don't other MMORPG do that 'underground' crap? Eg. buy stuff for WoW on E-Bay? *heh* I mean, is that legal also? Not really. Not the last time I looked anyway. Hell, I would not be suprised if they sold stuff for mainstream MMORPG's. E-Bay has eveything under the sun pritty much. So then I also see that people sell/ give away key coads for this kind of stuff. Also legal? nope. But it's all be done before, right? Why stop now?...

I did not get a chance to check the vids becasue my dumb computer decided not to play them but it seems like it got some mixed opinions. Insteresting...

Yep spot on reviewing here oh for got to mention tho that the chip wars are hellish.

If you are lucky your guild leader does more than say during a chip war Everyone follow me KIKIKIKIKI.

And usually everyone does there thing during a chip war no organisation at all.

Also the PvP is a competition to see who has the most Pots.

And the farming bit ofthe game while a good idea is so full of it......You just have to sit by the portal and set yourself to mine the rocks protected by the 100's of other miners doing the same and by your faction race members who come by to lok for enermys to kill.

So to be brief mining is perfect for AFK work and very Very Very profitable.
