I've been gone so long I forgot most of the game. It will come back to me as I play. Where do I go to spend Tombstones so I can get my armor to lvl 90?
Which dungeon would help me the most with Poetic Tombstones. I believe that is the one needed for the high end armor

No.
iLvl 120 armour is obtained either as drops in the World of Darkness raid (limit of 1 piece per week was removed a couple of patches ago) or purchased with Poetics tomestones which have a weekly cap of 900 since the last patch.
Best armour purchaseable with gil (from other players, directly or via market boards) is iLvl 110 crafted armour which if HQ crafted and over-melded is better than the base number would suggest.
ofc if you have enough gil to pay an elite raid guild to run you through Final Coil of Bahamut you can get i130 gear that way.
Don't take my opinion as fact, but I feel that coming back after an extended break to an mmo like Final Fantasy XIV ARR is more trouble than it's worth. Short breaks are doable, but long breaks like taking six months or more with an expansion rush happening...
I mean, the developers can control the non-human element of their game, but they can't control the decay of the human element that happens with these games as they are out for extended periods. Plus there is the entire "playing catch up" phase that might not even be plausible for some people due to real life schedules.
Oh it's doable. My bro Reapers Edge just hit 50. He got the game 2 months ago. Mind you he is SUPER casual. He seems to be doing just fine. But I feel ya dude on being rushed ya know.
Yeah, I mean what is a returning player to do? You get back on with your once top of the line level 50 character, find yourself relearning the controls while being surrounded by throngs of people who have seemingly completed everything you've come back for. Plus the developers can't control where you show up in the game world when you log back on after goodness knows how long, so you may end up in the middle of the most unpopulated zone in the game now with no pointers as to where to go start all the new content.
I've been through that twice in World of Warcraft, but that game, even during Burning Crusade, was fairly easy to jump back into since all the quest content built on itself in the exact same zone, so everything was compartmentalized. Questing in Final Fantasy XIV ARR can take you sprawling across the game world and can start seemingly anywhere. It's both a strength and a weakness for the game, really. Sort of like the old Linkin Quest in World of Warcraft (which was amazing fun to complete at the time, even with all the running around.)

You will have needed to have completed the main story line, including what was added in 2.5. The reason for this is that it sets the lore as to why you travel Heavensward. It is also worthwhile doing because it unlocks some more trials and dungeons which are used in the roulettes.
It doesn't take more than a couple of days to complete the added quests and quite frankly, they aren't difficult.
