I would have to say Grahtwood and specifically the Undaunted Tent. There is a certain joy when you get something good out of a chest that you've been wanting to get for ages.
Cold Harbour - one of the best starting zones to date.
Where else do you get to follow a norse warrior woman on a quest to sacrifice herself to save a blind hermit that just might be the key to saving the world? All in the first 15 min of the game. Love it!
Malabal Tor... specifically I like it's ambience. Nevermind the fact that it's populated by filthy elves.
Followed VERY closely by Grahtwood
(Why is MMORPG spell check telling me I spelled ambience wrong? It's driving me nuts.)

My favorite zone is Stros M'kai. I just love how it the Arabian looking structures compliment the surrounding desert. When I first watched Aladdin as a kid, I got so excited every time I saw Aladdin flying around the city on his magic carpet, and you would see building that resemble the ones in Stros M'kai. Absolutely beautiful, and it does the Redguard justice as their territory!

Agree 100% Alik'r Desert is gorgeous. Lots of beautiful zones, but it's my favorite so far.
There is no beauty that captures smooth grace and rough harshness at the same time like the Alik'r. It is my favorite region to get lost in, to spend time in, and to appreciate the more exotic architecture (from what is usually seen out there).
Send me to the desert and its peoples any day and I'll go with a smile.
I also like all the starter islands. I find the quest lines more enjoyable and the scenery, mostly at night, is very inspiring. It just calls to adventurers. One of the good things about making V1 is being able to return to those areas whenever you want without creating a new character.

Well being a Aldmeri Dominion freak it WAS Auridon....very beautiful & lush lands....nothing like wonderful scenery throughout while playing . However that changed when I created a toon & decided to try the Daggerfall Covenant after a bit I was sent to Betnikh.......and I fell in love with this place not necessarily because of the view but the QUESTS. The LORE & the stories pulled me in like a dry sponge thirsting for water. Whomever created the stories & quests in this place ....you've done an excellent job....my hats off to ya!!!
After a year of on and off hardcore pvp'ing I've accumulated dozens of thousands of kills. I've reached rank 29 on an AD character then after AD kept winning the "main" campaigns I rerolled EP and reached rank 38 so far. I've been crowned emperor twice, once on each faction, and I've led pvp raids for one of the few continuously active and extremely successful hardcore pvp guilds that has remained faithful to ESO (not coming and going).
Within this zone I've seen it all and fought everywhere, from the tops of snow covered mountains, to the dangerous pits of lava, and upon the lush open fields. My journey continues, perhaps you shall find me on the field one day, most likely you already have.

My favorite zone is Eyevea. It is a just a joy to run around in. From simply artistic standpoint it is one of the better rendered zones. It stands as proof that a good concept and color palette can take you a long way.

Eastmarch was nice, although it's really hard to just pick a single area.
